I have no issues with the changes talked about except....
Changing the stats on 1. Pirate implants, and 2. Faction mods.
I will keep this short. Both of these items are obtained by the player at a large cost for the effects.
If you are going to change the pirate "Snake" implants, then it is only reasonable all of the pirate sets are reduced to be less effective as well.
If in fact the items were not placed at such a high price I would not have such an issue. And saying, "oh well now snakes won't be as expensive." Well thats fine if you are going to pay me the difference?
Only 2 qualms I have. I am looking forward to using more than just the 5% of my sp it takes to fly a nano.

The market is player-driven. So there is a reason if something has a very high price. It's not CCP's fault if a player invests in overpriced fotm equipment.

Thanks for the personal attack!
This is not a FOTM issue. Don't be bitter you don't have any l33t sets of implants. And I had flown nano ships long before I had snakes, so try again.
Now back to the topic...
The pirate implant sets all effect an aspect of the game. Be it any of the numerous sets in game that boost a certain aspect. If you change the rate at which one set effects an aspect it should only follow suit with the rest of the implant sets.
The same can be said about the faction mods. Be it a mwd, or deadspace/officer shield booster or boost amp etc. Strictly changing on set of such items becaues the whiners have finally been thrown a bone is unjust. The same can be said about crystals or slaves making a tank out of this world.
Only changing one set of pirate implants is now strictly abusing those that enjoyed a certain play style, thus they must all be reduced in the effect you gain.

fotm huh. more like flavor of the last few years.
i agree that some semblance of balance needs to remain though (implant sets are already unbalanced though). it's not a question of whether a new trend in eve will emerge; it always does. then they'll nerf that too.
some ships will be flown differently, who knows about the rest of them... a slow curse seems pretty lame to me

If you take that as personal attack, then perhaps EVE is not the game for you. I've written "if a player". That's pretty much a general statement, don't you think? As a PvP player, you should be less sensitive.
Anyway, if it makes you feel better, I'm sorry that I've hurt your feelings. It's just that I've read too many 'nano-threads' and tend to think and write about 'players with nano-fitted ships' in general.
However this:"Don't be bitter you don't have any l33t sets of implants." is a very direct and unmistakable (and should I add, childish?) personal attack.
