Sorry if that was vagueà.
(Catchy title though huh?)
Anyway, the system is 0.9.
I want to insure two ships and use them to blast this guy.
One character is Gallente, the other is Minmatar.
I can fly up to Battleship with both.
What two ships with what builds would you suggest?
Ohà and I will get my insurance back if I do this right?????

plated neutron gank mega plated ac/torp phoon and yes you will get insurance

well what ship type are you trying to gank? none of the barges will stand up to one gank bs.

if u use a raven then use...
Highs: Large smartbombs (whichever ones will do the most damage on hulk)
Meds: extenders, cap booster and an ecm burst to give u just a little more time
lows: something else? dunno...

If you use a raven I'd go with something like:
6 T1 torp launchers fitted with ONE load of faction torps (why waste faction ammo - you wont' live long enough to reload anyway, nor should you need to).
Couple of smartbombs OR blasters/rails.
2 Painters + tackle gear
Weapon damage upgrades and whatever makes you feel warm and fuzzy in those last 1 - 2 slots.
High damage drones.
Tactic is simple - find the guy, get close, point/web him and unload with everything. You should get off 3 volleys before concord shows up to ruin your fun times and I don't think there's a hulk out there that can actually absorb that kind of punishment (we're talking 20k damage or so in those 20 seconds).
Pick the damage type the hulk is likely least resistant to. Being a .9 system I suspect the ship has NO tank whatsoever (no rats) and instead has cargo expanders/rigs and MLU's, in which case you can simply deliver kin/term damage to hit the lower average resists. If you want to confirm a fitting, just get a ship with a scanner and throw on a passive target and find out for yourself. If he's really macroing he probably won't notice it happen.
What system is this happening in by the way?

I watched a hulk pop to Goon the other night... both guys were in cruisers, 1 = thorax the other was a rupture. Here is the way to look at it...Max Hulk Pilot running an active 0.0 tank (btw most are not so it should be easier then this).
1519 Shields (1899 after skill) with average of 70% resists
1033 Armor (1266 after skill) Exp 10%, kin 25%, therm 35% and EM 50%
1000 or so hull, no resists
Shield boosting 15-25 shield per second
I'm going to just use a tech 1 fitted rupture
2x HAM (CN Torrent) [60dps] and
4x 425mm AC's (Republic EMP) [245.37DPS]
Your just over 300 DPS with max skill (and have about 20-30 sec or so)
That being the case you'll have to kill 500 boosted shields over that time
Using this set up alone would take 26 sec to break the shields alone, then another 7 seconds to kill the armor and 4 sec to kill the hull. One ship won't do it but add the DPS from a neutron Thorax and you'll kill that hulk without any issue
The key is large guns and 3 damage mods... also target painters will help a little but the hulk has a 150m sig rad so you'll hit just fine standing still.
PS. The rupture can use 1 med and 4 lights if I remember correctly and the thorax can use 5 med. I would use valk's and warriors and set those drones to assist the other guy before you attack so when you enguage both sets of drone will attack without being commanded to.

A smartbomb BS will not work in .9 sec status. The RoF is way slow and you will die to Concord long before the Hulk pops.
You should be able to do it with a gank Mega. I used a Domi with large T1 blasters and sentry drones and was able to get it done in .8 space. I had another friend in a Domi join me for fun, but it was overkill, but added to the dramatic effect to the victim.

Some very F*cking brutal setups here!!!
But PLEASE make sure he's a macro miner and not just some young wipper snapper who has spent the last year mining just so he can afford a hulk and is going out to mine so he can get enough ISK to get some ships to PvP...
People working hard to justify a means to an end, I love, but a macro miner I hate and I would love for you to FRAPS yourself rip him to bits!!!!! and post the link here mate!!

Agreed though with the make sure he is macro s****comment... this toon spends alot of time semi-afk mining in a hulk to keep my 0.0 main in expensive ships, last thing you want to do is hurt an acutal player just trying to make ends meet.
That being said I'd just go 7x nuetrons 3 mags and a dmg control and blast the *****. (edit: er on a mega)
also wtf witht he filter ccp niether of those words are profane.

Thank you for all the responses.
I am 99.99999% sure he is running a macro.
I have sent him invites to chat numerous times - No answer.
I have eve-mailed him ôkind warningsö (I was very nice and did not curse or anything like that) that if he kept running his macro I would inform CCP and/or higher a bounty hunter if he didnÆt take his macro elsewhere.
He is always on and in system. I am also checking traffic and he is the only one in system that I see all day.
Near the end of the day, top belts are entirely empty AND I will see him later in those SAME belts sitting there.
I have mined in the same belt as he and watched as he sits there in range of the high end asteroids and yet he mines a random assortment of Veldspar and Scordite usually û rarely is he hitting the high end stuff.
I guess I should have asked????
Anyone want to hit this guy for me????
