Taradis Amarr The Imperial Assassins Ethereal Dawn	Posted - 2008.07.31 09:12:00 - [4] Slipknot is ok their 1st album was great.... Cannibal Corpse is by far my fav death metal band. Cradle is awesome specially old cradle of filth. Thornograpgy kinda ****ed me, same with metallica's st anger ,drums sounded like shit on that album hopefully their new album is better..... I like loads of others. Devil Driver is awesome also BTW

LaVista Vista	Posted - 2008.07.31 12:50:00 - [10] I quite like Slipknot. Some of their early tracks are very good, but some of the "soft" tracks they made on their last album, was quite decent. I don't like the parts where they just make noise(Screaming in the mouth of each other, or whatever it is they do). But the rest is rockin'.

I like certain songs on each cd but I'll never be a fanboy. I don't even know what ever happened to the slipknot cd. I remember though when I was living with my friends we almost always had the tv tuned to MTV 2 which would constantly play mudvayne and the house would get torn up each time it was on.

The ones I like most are: Left Behind, Wait and Bleed, Duality, Before I forget, Opium of the People, Scream, Don't Get Close. I have all their albums, but I only really listen to Vol. 3. I dont like the songs which are too crazy, they arent music in my opinion, just a mash of noise. And some of the songs are just creepy :P I heard Psychosocial a few days ago and have been listening to it all the time since, its really good. I just makes me feel badass when listening to it haha. Im going to Leeds Festival this year, and Im gonna go see them :D

I couldn't get over that steel drum sound. I hear drums I think thump not clang lol. Master of puppets and Justice had some killer sounding drums and made the sound soooooooo much heavier

The snare if what killed it for me that loud clangy steel drum sound but then again I am not a drummer, I do guitar and bass lol

So you think you know about genres than me. ok then what are they to you then, classical pop? deathcore?, jazzfusion? EDIT: so your saying a guy that jsut picked up the guitar is a good as yngve malmsten? being able to play faster and have a wider range of technique allows one to be more creative and develop a more unique sound... again I didn't say they were "better" I was reffering to skileldi n the sense that they play faster and have abit more technique in their music... ________________________ I'M POOR
