I looked in the setup thread, and searched but could not find and setups for original badger. Only Badger II showed up. Anyways, im trying to make the best mining setup out of this. (unless there is a better caldari industrial ship for mining)
Im going to try to get this ship to mine in 0.0 but right now it will mine in 0.5. So right now im starting with a clean badger. I have about a two mill budget, because, well, thats basically all I can afford.
My setup is: Empty

Just a mix of expanded cargo holds and mining laser upgrades in the lows and your sole mining laser in the high. Only use it in .9 or 1.0 to avoid having the NPC belt rats.
It is really terrible however. You'd be better off jetcan mining in a Bantam, and using the badger to pick up your can. __________________________________________________

seriously you should fit some cargo expanders II and maybe even cargo rigs, but they are pretty expensive. Remember not to haul ALL expensive stuff around at once since you will get ganked in a T1 hauler, no matter what tank you try to fit.
So filling the whole cargo with tritanium bars IS a really bad idea. If you are willing to do such things give me a call which route you are taking and I will assist you

people will destroy your ship to get the cargo, no matter if they will die from Concord or not. So its always better not to move around 500 million in a T1 hauler, but to fly the route 2 or 3 times to be on the safer side

Im probably just going to mine, so not too much of a high cargo. And i will be warping straight back to station.

I think he's making fun of us, or rather the ship setup sticky. Or he's just really following the rules
In case not: don't mine in a badger. I know why you want to, but just don't.
Use an Osprey for a start...
Also Battlebadger.

I wasnt trying to make fun of you. And now after talking to my alliance they say that jettison method with a bantam works good. Ill try that.

Dont mine in a Badger.
Train for a retriever then for hulk.
Badger is not for mining it's a transport ship. I just LOLed when you said you wanted to mine in 0.0 with it...
