Yes, in their minds they may be looking up to someone whom they think has done something positive, or at least that is the excuse for this tragic act. However, if it is because they know no better, yet we do, who fails God more? You're not saying anything new--those teenagers were raised by their tribe with certain values. Human nature is shaped by experiences as well as genes, and those Brutor and their children and their children's children need to be worked into the ground before they'll know what divinity is about. Blind charity to those who wish to kill you will get you an enemy Titan in your home system, and Amarrians as a whole aren't foolish enough to make that mistake.

What I fail to understand, is why help these 2 boys regain there sight, when they decided to be stupid enough to try to scare themselves in the first place.
If you do plan on donating to these boys, make sure that they get some type of counseling, self mutilation is a serious issue, that needs to be addressed.

Kudos to the young individuals involved for making what may indeed be the greatest statement in Metaphorical Protest Art we have seen for decades, albeit one with somewhat lasting consequences .... :)

To go back on topic,,, it is sad when youth idol-worship comes to extremes like this, but i suppose these extreme times are partly in cause of it *sighs lowly*.
Though my heart bids me to also send some sort of help, my logical sense tells me to not do it,, since they did what they did due to idolizing a person i have nothing but contempt for.
