Just played my first game.
It IS a little cartoony, but I was trying so hard to get stuck into it that it didn't bother me. I got owned, as I always do. It REALLY does have overpowered stuff - I had some really quite superb aircraft - but they all got shot down.
The lag that multiplayer play usually brings made it hard to enjoy this to the max, I was hoping for a single player option, but it's just online atm.

I've got my beta key around here, not sure whether RA3 is going to be any good, or just a bit of a flop.
It seems to be lacking everything that made RA2 so great.
Edit: Mind, i'm still playing Kane's Wrath reguarily. ZOCOM ftw.

I haven't got a beta key, but I will hopefully be able to play it at i34 in a few days time.
Along with Spore and whatever else EA decides to show off. Got to try out Crysis last year, glad I tried it at the event so I didn't got and buy it lol.

I have no idea what the Chinese team is like - my game last night was mainly just "what does that... oh crap" and "i wonder if i can, wait, no i can't".
LOL.
I did spot a couple of bugs, like the structures tab kept blinking despite the fact that I had nothing ready to be deployed.

Grr, EA sofar hasn't even confirmed the key for my RA beta spot yet. 
Hope they get to it soon though, want to give the game a spin.

I'm somewhat sceptical to EA. They release the same game over and over and over again, with a couple of new feautres. Tiberium Wars 3 was a big "gah", so I can't say I give two cents about RA. Though RA2 was damn good when Westwood still had some ownership of their C&C creation after EA bought it all up.
