I have a quick and unimportend question about where to go to test destroyers on the testserver.
I was just trying to test a few destroyers and i was planning on doing that on the frig FFA,because thats where i used to go if i`m flying a destroyer.
But this time i got kicked out by a game master,telling me that its for frigs only and a destroyer is to big.
Kinda confused me,where else am i supossd to go with a desy?
Cruiser FFA? i dont wanna test that thing against cruisers,its role is to keep frigs away,thats what i want to try.
Also,AF`s are ussualy stronger than destroyers,if they are allowed to go there,why shouldnt destroyers?
I think destroyers should be allowed to go to the frig FFA,as weak as the are ATm,thats where they belong.

Gotta agree here. Dessies use all frig-class equipment...for all intents and purposes they're slower frigs with more hislots.
Granted, them vs frigates is like putting a shark in a sea lion tank...

I agree there is no way a destroyer can handle cruisers, its role is severely limited.

Destroyers are anti-frigate ships. They are designed to counter frigates, it makes no sense to put them in a place where they can dominate everything else.
And no, assault frigates cannot easily get rid of well equipped destroyers, that is a myth. If it were the case then no one would complain.
Finally, destroyers aren't frigates. The frigate classes are well defined, not just by size but by the descriptions of each.
Destroyers may lack a place to practice but they are hybrid craft, "tech I cruisers and below" should suffice. Failing that, do something consensual.
One thing you need to realise, when a destroyer enters the frigate area, EVERYONE complains about it. Destroyers do not belong there, that's why the name on the beacon was changed to just 'frigates'.
Edit: AFs belong there because they are frigates. 
I find it ironic that when I complained about this today, a few people told me to go whine about it on the forum, including the destroyer pilot. After the GM intervened the destroyer pilots come here to whine. Suck it up, damnit.
Oh, and motion to add "NO DESTROYERS" to the beacon, just to make it even more obvious.

FFA1 is probably a good place to go, book mark some safe spots, wait for people in frigates to turn up, warp over, test away!
I'll test it second sisi is back on her feet.
I expect to not get any customers my size for a while and lots of people in sniper rokhs trying to get lucky ;0
Don't cry if your ship pops before you can test, just buy 10 at a time, for 100k, how can you argue? lol
