The reason suicide ganking was nerfed was to fix the risk vs reward. As everyone knows, there is a great deal of reward versus no risk in high sec, and no reward versus a great deal of risk in lowsec. Now in highsec there is a great deal of reward versus a correspondingly high amount of risk.

It shifted more risk onto suicide gankers, which like the nano nerf EVERYBODY should have seen it as a long time coming. Insurance payouts for suicide ganking made no logical sense.

CCP never ever fixed anything. it just created bigger problems, so that those who whine'd about A now whine about B instead.
you'll see that in the next patch...

Nice one. But still, people have been arguing against insurance payouts for suicide ganking for a long time. Removing them was the only way to address the suicide ganking issue without actually making the act itself impossible. If it was a choice between removal of insurance or buffing CONCORD to the point where any aggression in High Sec would be pointless, the removal of insurance is the hands-down better choice on CCP's part.

Agreed. After all, even with the proposed changes, you can still suicide gank! As pointed out on one of the hundred or so other threads, it is possible to suicide gank in a Raven, get no loot from the mark and still come out in profit! That can't be right...
