Actor and comedian Bernie Mac has died at the age of 50.
The star was best known in the UK for film roles in Ocean's Eleven, Charlie's Angels and Transformers.
But in the US, he achieved critical and popular acclaim for the long-running sitcom The Bernie Mac Show, which earned him two Emmy award nominations.
He was admitted to hospital in Chicago last week and died early on Saturday morning due to complications arising from pneumonia, his publicist said.

I had to look this up to see if this was a joke, but sadly it's not. Damn. I loved his standup. Carlin not long ago and now him, the comedy world has lost a little.

Gato, this IS an OOPE thread. Anything not directly related to EVE goes in here.

This man was a great comedian, and even though I never really enjoyed the bernie mac show he did make me laugh on many occasions, and thats the best thing any person can ever do.
RIP Mr Mac.
