BRETHREN! So to aspire above our brethren, to himself assuming Authority usurp'd from God not given.
He gave us only over beast, fish, fowl, dominion absolute; that right we hold by his donation; but man over men he made not; such title to himself Reserving, human left from human free.
A mind not to be changÆd by place or time. The mind is its own place, and in itself Can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.
Long is the way And hard, that out of hell leads up to light.

Lovely bit of poetry, pilot, but I've noticed the Amarr tend not to take verse very seriously unless it comes with a citation at the end indicating it comes from a respected source, which usually means scripture.
To respond to your writing its own merits, however: your god may not have given human the authority to command human, but He certainly gave us the means. Usually, I hand someone a motorized saw to cut wood, a kitchen knife to chop vegetables, and I'm trying to think of alternative uses for laser batteries, thermonuclear warheads, and transcranial microcontrollers beyond the obvious.
... Or is it just the whole "free will" problem getting out of control again (or, rather, still)?

Very well written Pilot, however bear in mind that you risk excommunication for sharing this. The Amarr Empire is notoriously intolerant of views that don't perfectly echo their particular version of the scriptures.
Infact I guarentee that if Rodj Blake or similar finds this, he will immediately brand you a heretic.

Nah. To most Amarr, Minmatar fall into the category of "beast".

Those who hate most fervently must have once loved deeply; those who want to deny the world must have once embraced what they now set on fire.

You're missing at least one other option, pilot: what is hated need not necessarily have been loved. What is hated may, instead, threaten or have caused harm to what is loved.

What an appropriate scripture...
We are only agents of God's will. There is no fulfilment in life greater than knowing you served a greater purpose than your own. Those with no relationship with God will find it hard to understand how one can know what God wants them to do. But for those of us who are servants of God, we hear God's call, and we answer.

A religious man is a person who holds God and man in one thought at one time, at all times, who suffers harm done to others, whose greatest passion is compassion, whose greatest strength is love and defiance of despair.
You betray our God whole heartily by ignoring your humanity.

There is no god, ergo no will of god. Stop deluding yourselves and indulge your basests desires.

You have got to be joking, pilot. Well-- okay, it's you, Mr. Cetes, so perhaps you're not joking, but just sounding (unintentionally?) like a horrible Gallentean director's idea of an evil, seductive Blood Raider.
Moral behavior is, at most, partially shaped and inspired by religious belief. It has other origins, and there are extensive reasons for not "indulging your basest desires" beyond the existence or non-existence of a divinity. Mostly, "base desires" often end up being personally and socially destructive when indulged, so keeping the desirous bit of yourself under control is just generally good policy, regardless of what you believe.
I'm hoping that you meant something rather more moderate than what your words (here and elsewhere) seem to imply, but ... well. Hope and belief, in this case, are two quite distinct concepts.

Hope is weakness, events will not happen unless you MAKE them happen. Desiring what does not exist will only lead to dissapointment.

Mr. Cetes ...
Perhaps you didn't read my above comments very carefully. In context, what you are saying is, "It is weakness to hope that I am not an idiot. I will not stop being an idiot unless you force me to. Desiring me not to be an idiot will only lead to disappointment."
... Upon consideration, I'm forced to agree.

ôOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.ö

It seems SOMEONE desires to join the inquisition, and do their jobs for them. I see the supposedly just imperialists have still not learned the simple values of respect, tolerance and overbearing. At least, you have not.
So let's recap: Mr. Heromann made a poem, and it was rather nice, telling how god gave man the right to dominate all manner of beasts and other creations, but NOT other men. This ofcourse directly opposes your beloved roll of lies you call the scriptures, made by your own beloved priests, telling the Amarr that they have just such a right of dominion over other men...
And as a man who apparently don't agree on this view, you now call him a blasphemer, a heretic, and an enemy of the state? Remarkable how eager most hardliner Amarr seem to be in throwing such over-reactions about.
All over the simple matter of a single person's diverging view of things, and for that divergent viewpoint, he's now to be declared... an enemy of the empire?
I'm wondering who YOU are Mr. I've never-seen-you-around-here-before and who you think that you present by claiming the authority to pass such judgement, and the arrogence in asking all other Amarr to oppose a man for his beliefs or, skill at poetry-making.
Honestly, your foolishness would be amusing me if it wasn't so sad to note you seem dead-serious. I hope one day you will wake up to reality and see the errors of your naive ways.
For Mr. Heromann, you made a nice poem, and dared to present it in public... you must have known the dangers involved, I'm sure. This either makes you brave... or stupidly risky. I'll vote for the first option, for now. Best of luck in dealing with Mr. RhajKa here, and his naive ilk.
