Delta is indeed the difference between refine and sell prices. The delay on updating assets is set server-side by CCP. |

First of all a great thanks for such a great program.
Now to my question.
Codeguard , I just hit a 504 Gateway timeout error now in every attempt to pull data from eve-central(mineral prices/sell or by prices) i would like to ask if there is maximum time where we can do requests to eve-central per time period ? or could it be some bug in the coding, i have tried deleting everything except the updater and re updated eve refinery but it will still show the 504 Gateway timeout error.
Note that i am currently playing eve now so its not possible that my internet connection is down and going to eve-central's website is fine with me o.o
Detail of the error is as below
************** Exception Text ************** System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (504) Gateway Timeout. at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at EveRefinery.Engine.LoadXmlWithUserAgent(String a_Url) at EveRefinery.PriceProviderEveCentral.EveRefinery.IPriceProvider.GetPrices(List`1 a_TypeIDs, PriceSettings a_Settings) at EveRefinery.PriceProviderAuto.GetPrices(List`1 a_TypeIDs, PriceSettings a_Settings) at EveRefinery.FrmSettings.BtnLoadMineralPrices_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnClick(EventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.OnMouseUp(MouseEventArgs mevent) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ButtonBase.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Button.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

I think this is simply a temporary effect on the side of eve-central. If the problem persists, try to open eve-central.com in your browser and see what happens. |

Hm, I do lik the program overall, great idea and seems to at least partially work as intended!
Problem i'm finding is that items shown on the list aren't often there in system(update lag maybe?) and more often than not, all the reprocess numbers seem to be higher than they actually are, despite having set the station effiecency and tax, and taking account into my skills as well. For instance, an item might say its sell value is 700,000isk and refine value is at 2mil or so, but upon refining, its actually only around 1.4 |

Could be that the mineral prices are outdated for the system. Someone could have sold a big chunk of minerals that crashed the price on the market before you.
What I usually do is to load the BuyMax value for the system in the options , check the buy value for the minerals on the markets in eve. tweak as necessary. That should get you the proper price.
So far , I have not lost isk while using this program , except for that one time where I was half asleep and bought above the refine price of goods(thankfully it was less than a million in losses). In 1 month of usage, I have made quite alot from buying>refining>selling minerals.

The prices on items are indeed not very accurate, i have explained that many times above. The discrepancy you observe should be due to the lag, wrong price type selected, wrong mineral prices, or incorrect refine skills selected. You can identify a specific issue by doing step-by-step checks, starting with checking the mineral prices and refined amounts. |

Codeguard wrote:Took a bit of time to collect my notes. So, here's what i could be doing in the future, without any specific order and promises.
- Price/Volume, Delta/Volume columns
- Dim colors a bit
- Filtering & searching
- Removing items from assets by hand
- Adding ALL items, not just refinable
- Second prices column
- Refresh specific prices on demand
- Copy specific item name from list
and replacing old names to new ones like:

Just a small suggestion , Add a column for Item type ID . It can really help when we export the data out to csv.
Thanks again :D |

DoraTheExplora Taft , i think eve-central.com was unavailable for some reason. Kestutis Fujika , you clearly need to be more specific. Otherwise, do all the typical steps such as checking your firewall. |

Hokay... even though this program sounds legit then why are you purposefully misleading people when directing to sourceforge where you can find a text file that tells you to go to a site that could very easily be a virus platform?
Just link to the real site and be honest from the start... this way it looks quite supicious |

So is the easiest way to set up the prices click the Loss% column and refine everything with a negative % loss?
And what price type is best, sell medium or sell minimum |

It's easier to sort by item name or type, the same way as in game, and see the line colors. As for which price is better, it's hard to say, that depends on your strategy and purpose. Just check which suits you more. |
