Zero Point Group is a small corporation founded on the principle that EVE is a game and should be treated as such. Currently we are a group of individuals who, after a year or so of doing our own thing, have returned to our roots. We are mainly an older group with ages ranging from early 20's to, I think we have a 40 something or two. That said, we have lives, jobs, and families. Our members range from 10-30ish mil sp, though we have no sp requirements.
We generally hang out in Amarr space, though we do road trips . The activities we engage in run the gamut. We have people who enjoy can-flipping (emo miners need not apply, lol), suicide ganking, roaming lowsec and 0.0 tomfoolery (we're not pirates, but we're not anti-pirates either, whatever the definition of those may be), mission running (blah, but we have alts to feed), exploration, light industry/invention and anything else really.
-What we want in a potential member-
The skill of Propulsion Jamming trained to lvl 1 at least and the ability to fly a T1 Frigate.
The willingness and desire to shoot other internet spaceships.
Self sufficiency. Of course if you are a newer player, we can help to a point.
North American timezone players. We do have a Brit, but his job pretty much puts him in our timezone.
Someone who realizes can-flipping, suicide ganking, War Decs, ransoms, belt piracy, limited gate camps and similar activities are all valid forms of play.
-What we don't want in a potential member-
Trial Account members. We want people who will be around for more than 2 weeks and actually enjoy logging in every once in a while.
Elitist attitudes. We don't care about your bazillion skill points, corp history, 180,000 kills, 10 years of playing EVE, whatever.
Smack talkers (Friendly banter is fine, smack makes you and your organization look like a**hats)
People who get emotional over the loss of ships/killboard stats etc.
Station humpers (a lot of us come from Empire War backgrounds, so this practice is rightly despised)
Someone who wants to sit and farm a gate all day.
Roleplayers. Nothing against them, but there's enough nonsense spouted in our channels.
-What we offer, lol-
Casual play with like-minded individuals.
No drama and no politics.
When we roam around, its generally small gangs (2-10).
-What we don't offer-
A corp hangar (too easily abused). We will however provide things on a case by case basis.
Capital Ships. We don't have any, and don't want any.
Player Owned Stations. We don't have any, and don't want any.
0.0 access. Ninja rat to your hearts content, but we have no docking rights (this also means Providence, lol) outside of NPC stations. We don't want to hold space and will never "rent" space nor docking rights, so you do the math.
23/7 PvP. As stated before, we are small, laidback and have lives, jobs and families.
In conclusion, we know we don't have much to offer, but we are also pretty apathetic about it. If we get no recruits, only 1 or 2 of us will lose any sleep over it.
Join the channel "ZPG Public" during US primetime and there might be someone to talk to you. Or better yet, spam up our CEO's inbox. Mail preferably, or convo Barashi Nugan.
Long poast is long.
