I wanna make alot of isk fast. Is it worth training up 3 hulk pilots and 1 Hauler pilot for mining. I already have a 25mill SP pvp player

If you got the system to run all of that then go for it. Well I mean don't go for it, because ISK-whoring alts are lame, but your plan is certainly viable.

define "fast" - training up three alts to get into hulks and be able to process/refine, etc, etc, isn't exactly going to be fast - plus then you have the many, many boring hours of mining & hauling to get your stuff to market for a profit. doesn't really seem very 'fast' to me - and if you have the ISK for this, you might be better off trying to invest it and have it make money passively, rather than grinding mining.
of course, if you're planning on macro-mining, i hope a dog chews off your knackers.
if you're looking for ways to make money from alts, you might wanna train up research and have a few alts getting datacores. one of my pals has 5 accounts and they all have L4 R&D agents and he said he makes around 500 million a month from datacores and all he has to do is login once a month, gather the dc's and then move them to rens or jita or somewhere and sell them. can't verify those numbers myself, but have no reason to disbelieve him.

errr.... 4 accounts @ 14.95 = 59.80
I think he'd get more isk for his buck just selling GTCs, then he doesn't have to parade 4 or more alts around to agents once a month.
For the OP, I'd recommend a similar analysis. If I were you I'd only start your own mining crew if that would be fun for you. If you're just in it for the isk, just sell GTCs with the money you would have spent on extra accounts, and play your main. Try to remember that it's a game, and it's supposed to be fun.

With 3 Hulks mining arknonor i think youll be able to afford GTC for all of them.
Can get a noob char into a hulk with the 14 day trial + 1 60 day gtc

And this is the reason that minerals are falling in value.
Not cause the mission runners are refining loot or the drone regions are evil. But cause any noob can get into an elite mining ship in less than two months and can be a fully maxed out miner in four.

Yeah... IF you can get access to both arkonor fields AND a place to refine it and/or sell the raw ore and/or megacyte. This challenge is why multi-boxing Hulk alts mine Veld all day in High Sec.

You should be able to, if you have access to arknonor.
But you would problably do better getting 3 alts into Drakes and running level 3's semi-AFK.

Not every nullsec system has Arkonor. In fact most of those that do are in sovereign space, and while there are nullsec alliances who bring in inexperienced players you may have a bit more difficulty getting into one that's holding sovereignty. Even if you did you won't have a lot of time to mine, most likely. Fleet Ops trump everything but RL in terms of importance once you're in with one of those alliances.

Ok, I'll ask you again. Would that be fun for you? Yeah, your hulks can support themselves, plus a little bit, if you mine a lot. Do you want to mine a lot multi-boxing 4 characters while you have to scan for hostiles?
If that's your idea of a good time, go for it. If it's not, you're probably better off playing your main and just selling a GTC here and there if you need extra isk in game.

I can name four alliances with lots of member corps ready to recruit ANYONE. No forced ops, no strings attached. Just blue status and fields of a/b/c out there to be mined.
Refining stations take 10% of your gross, but considering you're making 400% it's still good. And no can flippers, wardecs or suiciders to deal with.
That said, depends on how many hours a day you can afk mine. A conservative 6 million/hour mining veld in empire (using a rigged, expanded hulk vs godmode hulk) means you have to put in ( 200 / 6 ) about 33 hours per month to break even. Everything over that is profit. You tell me if it's worth it or not.
Now, if you then train those miners to also produce datacores, do research in NPC stations (who cares if there's a 2 month wait? it's nearly free!), spam buy & sell orders, produce ammo and roll level 4 missions to farm with your combat group the cost decreases quite fast.
Short term investment, long term payoff. And yes, you can pull this off on one 60 day GTC per trial account and approx. 4.5 months of real world time.
Note: you're not the only one coming to these conclusions. Might want to do this now, or not at all. Just a feeling.

Same goes for any non-capital ship in the game, and its by design. Anyone can specialize in a particular ship class in abotu 4 months, pretty easily.

Are you kidding me? It takes nearly 6 million SP just to have usable t2 large weapon skills. Another 3m for t2 large drones. And let's call it 2M for spaceship command to get one race's BS to V plus prereqs. Now add in another 4M for engineering, mechanic and electronics to be able to fit that, and another 2M in navigation to be able to move. But wait, that'd take forever without learning. 2 more million for learning and cybernetics skills.
19 mil -- that's roughly how long it took my main to become an above average Raven pilot. Roughly a year and a bit. And that's specializing like an insect. I'm almost there with a megathron specialization at 31.XM sp (1.5 years of training or so), just another few million in navigation skills till I'm done (and nerfed into uselessness ).
So I'd claim you can specialize in t1 fitted frigates in 4 months. You'd be below average with cruisers and BCs, and level 4 mission PvE competent in a battleship. You can certainly make those ships MOVE and fitted with t1 junk deal a bit of damage in some circumstances. But there's no way you can be a decent t2 or battleship jockey in 4 months.

Alot of people, with decent SP, use T1 junk. Doesn't take alot of sp to be able to use arbalest launchers, or even CN launchers. My point? You don't have to use t2 mods to be effective, so you dont need gobs of sp either.

She said 'specialized', not 'effective.' I rat in a domi made out of melted rat loot fitted completely with rat droppings and t1 drones. It more than does the job. I certainly wouldn't want to put faction anything on it in my neighborhood. I lose enough of these things AFK when Stain drops by or guests get bored of cloaking. =)
My point? If I didn't have a gob of SP that unrigged free-after-insurance-and-then-some setup would not be killing 3x 1.5M spawns effectively. With 4M total SP I'd be lucky to get my drones in and aligned before the *rats* popped me, never mind players. I'd be making the ship move, but I would hardly be specialized.
However, a 4M hulk pilot is at most 3-6% below absolute maximum theoretical output for that career path. That's the difference. A 4M bc/command ship/HAC/BS pilot is a good 30-40% away from their maximum potential, if not more so. That's a giant performance delta.

As it stands right now a Hulk pilot (me) with a well fitted Hulk can make about 8-9 million ISK per hour. Currently it doesn't seem to make a whole lot of difference where, or what, you mine.Because I'm an Industrialist I'll get about 20% more than that with mark-up on the final product(s).
In my experience this can easily be surpassed by running level 4 missions, and I'm not all that good on level 4s. Even with three hulks at, lets say, 25 million per hour, it might not be worth the training time, imo.
Three Hulks with 21,000 m^3 capacity with a hauler (~ 33,000 m^3 capacity) would require a lot of logistics to keep up a good rate of progress. Heck, three nicely fitted Hulks would probably run 550 million + to begin with.
Unless you have a burning desire to get into Industry I'd run level 4s for the ISK, tbh.

Ah, yes, fair enough. Spend hours sending out probes that may come back empty or may come back without the ore you need. And by all means spend tens of millions of ISK per week renting from someone. Just sayin.
No but really, exploration and renting really are potential solutions to the OP's problem, but considering the lack of reliability in probing down the right belts and the cost of renting he may as well just mine Veld like every other Hulk alt.

Indeed. Unless having an exhumer squad is part of your personal plans for Eve Domination then I'd just get another account and train up a cov ops/transport alt to scout out your ratting areas plus drop giant secure cans to leave the good lootz in and scan out 0.0 exploration sites for the big iskies. Then you can use your 25 mil sp combat main to run them as your cov ops watches your back. Add a third account to train another specialized combat character and you can halve the time to take out a plex. However if you want to do the semi-afk thing so you can watch movies or spam the forums as you make iskies then the hulk squad can't be beat. Up to you really.
