Since the forum thread seems to be ignored by CCP, can we get some clarification on this? Is the alliance tournament the new victim of CCP's nerf bat? The next alliance tournament should have been announced by now

Its the forum subsections, not the tournament.

Ehhh if I wanted to watch a collect the junk race id reup WoW and watch those stupid PvP instanced collection task.
Sounds horrid and boreing to watch who wants to see mining lasers when you can have nail biting contest where bill's of isk worth of ships are on the line.
I mean all T1 frigs we cant even see Cribba and the Veldnaught make a surprise appearence.

Sorry i meant Sections.
They are cutting down the amount of sections and merging certain Subsections under the same title, Alliance Tournament will probably be "Player Gatherings and Events"
