How to repair sec status after this update.
1. Create an alt to shoot at ships in hi-sec with (actually destroying them is optional) 2. After alt gets to -10 take them to lowsec. 3. Relocate their clone to lowsec 4. Gank alt until sec status is repaired.
Sounds like a stealth suicide ganking buff. Not saying that I support or am against suicide ganking but people will no longer have to spend time retraining new suicide ganker characters. |

So a pirate corp has each member make an alt, and they all take turns killing all their alts. There could even be "shoot us!" corps who, for a fee, let you kill all their members so you can get a sec status gain.
Another way could be to have the sec status gain be related to the ship value destroyed. If low sec status people are willing to spend a huge amount of money buying their alts expensive ships, then sure they can meta-game their sec status up. I am running for the CSM. Take a look at my ideas. http://vincentoneve.wordpress.com/ |

I think I speak for most of the other -10 players by stating that I would welcome the opportunity to entertain someone looking to increase their sec status.
Honestly, I don't think this will make much of a difference, since the biggest factor keeping the low-sec population low is a pilots aversion to risk. We already get your weekend warrior crews running through low sec playing anti-pirate. ICRS - Intergalactic Certified Rocket Surgeon |

As a +5 that likes my toys in high sec, I'll be glad to come play with you now that I won't get stuck and low sec and be flagged along with the rest of you pirate scum. |

ANYTHING to give low-sec some love is awesome.
Alt-killing exploit would be easy to design against. Once per char, as stated, or exponentially diminishing returns. |

Pro-tip: If some of the well-known short-bus riders in here have already figured out how to exploit this new system, it's a ****** change. |
