Edited by: dietzen on 16/08/2008 20:18:42 Edited by: dietzen on 16/08/2008 20:11:03 Hello all, been browsing these forums and decided to post a question that's been bugging me: I have been playing for about a week now, and I've been building my main for missions/pvp.(Minmatar/Seb/tink) I have 889k sp, and am 4 days away from having all basic learnings at lvl 4. But, I Have been thinking that my attributes are not very balanced. Given the fact that I haven't invested a ton of time into this character, I was wondering if it would be worth it to just start fresh with a more attribute balanced start. Att's are as follows:
Char- 7 Int- 16 Per- 12 Mem- 9 Will- 8
So, any thoughts or suggestions?
Also, when training ship or support skills, should i be training them to V?- or is it better to just train them to IV and use the extra time to train different skills?
Thanks

I would reroll if I were you. If you're focusing on combat and pvp you should have a higher willpower and perception. Get Charisma as low as you can. A week of training is not much if you're just starting.

What are your exact BASE attributes ? Is the listing you have above even remotely "even" in learning skills and implants ? If it is somewhat even, attributes are quite nice... not the best, but not too bad either.
Like I said, wqe need the BASE attribute spread. Those things that add up to exactly 39.

Well, other than a lower-than-average memory, I can't say I see any significant problems with it.
In mem/int skills (basic learnings - which you say you almost completed, so no big worries there, and industry, which you may choose to skip over for a while), you compensate with high int so it's not tragic. In most support skills (mechanic, engineering, electronics) and even science you will speed through like a madman, which is quite good for the early pilot (many people neglect this side, but since you get best training speeds here, you may find incentive to pump them up a bit more first, which will help a lot in the long run). Also, with high int/per, the navigation skilltree will be the fastest one of them all, which isn't bad at all either. For gunnery/ship skills (per/wil) you're about average (for T2 ship skills, ever so slightly below average), so no big problems there either. The one bit memory will give you problems is drone training (mem/per) a bit slow (but unless you want to focus on droneboats heavily it's not that much SP you have to sink into them).
So all in all, unless you really think you want more balanced attributes in the long run, or think you want to specialize in multiple T2 ships later on in your char's life and want the best overall, I'd say keep the character and just finish 4/4 learnings whenever you can afford to.

Good decision. Sticking with your character is the best idea. You'll probably never be completly satisfied anyway. You like your name? You like your avatar? Then everything is fine. |

Edited by: Jixa on 20/08/2008 00:40:07 Edited by: Jixa on 20/08/2008 00:39:13 U should consider getting the advanced learnings too, its 100percent worth the time they need to train. learnings+advanced learnings both at 4 or probably normal learnings to V will save u much time as u will see as u make a plan about lets say 150days in evemon.
Btw...how long did u skill? u start with 800k and u got 890k...couldnt be more than some days.
Its fine to stay with the chara and the attributes are fine but for pure missions/pvp u will be better off some days with rerolling and getting stats according to the howto. That could neglate when u decide to get into sience...
PS:if ur Gallente well...the low mem really sucks;)
