Transcript of the Sermon on The Holy Crusade of the Reclaiming given at the Imperial Chapel on Pasha VII,

ôThe Lord punished the sinners and drowned them in their own blood.ö - The Scriptures. Book II.
But the people of Amarr lived righteously and in fear of God.
The Holy Crusade of the Reclaiming is to strive or struggle in the way of God, and is sometimes referred to as the pillar of Amarr Belief. The Holy Crusade of the Reclaiming is best known, however, to Amarrian and Non-Amarrian alike, in its meaning of violent struggle to bring about a spiritual enlightenment throughout the Galaxy.
Our faith in The Divine Command defends the Holy Crusade as a positive value itself and as an expression of other positive values.
The Amarr Divine Command moral system characterizes a focus upon adherence to independent moral rules or duties. To make the correct moral choices, we have to understand what our moral duties are and what correct rules exist to regulate those duties. When we follow our duty, we are behaving spiritually. When we fail to follow our duty, we are behaving against God. Typically our Divine Command system, our duties, rules, and obligations are determined by God. Being moral is thus a matter of obeying God.
The Amarr Divine Command moral system also stresses the reasons why certain actions are performed. Simply following the correct moral rules is often not sufficient; instead, we have to have the correct motivations. There might allow a person to not be considered immoral even though they have broken a moral rule, but only so long as they were motivated to adhere to some correct moral duty.
Nevertheless, a correct motivation alone is never a justification for an action in our Divine Command moral system and cannot be used as a basis for describing an action as spiritually correct. It is also not enough to simply believe that something is the correct duty to follow. Duties and obligations must be determined objectively and absolutely, not subjectively. There is no room in our Amarr Divine Command system of subjective feelings; on the contrary, we must condemn subjectivism and relativism in all their forms.
Perhaps the most significant thing to understand about the Amarr Divine Command moral system is that our moral principles are completely separated from any consequences which following those principles might have. Thus, if you have a moral duty to preach, then not preaching is always wrong ù even if that results in harm to others.
The questions we must always ask ourselves are:
What is my moral duty?
What are my moral obligations?
How do I weigh one moral duty against another?
There are many other virtues of Holy Crusade which I will now outline:
Martial Values in Holy Crusade
Martial values is perhaps one of the oldest arguments justifying our Holy Crusades. Accordingly the institution of Holy Crusade requires and creates particular character traits in people which are of supreme value in culture, society, politics, corporation.
Scientific Benefits of Holy Crusade
It have been pointed out many times by many different people that Holy Crusade has been long been a driving force behind Amarr scientific development. The strongest argument for Holy Crusade is that Holy Crusade is necessary to preserve or achieve spiritual enlightenment. Accordingly there exists such immoral or unjust state of affairs in the unenlightened, which is so terrible and so offends God that it is absolutely necessary that the Amarr act to end it.
Amarr is under over-all attack waged by pagan forces.
The enemy, which is directly implied as the Minmatar and Galante empires are dominating our outer colonies one after the other and forcing Amarr into a defensive posture. The Amarr commandment of the The Holy Crusade of the Reclaiming is injected as the cure to the illness which plagues the Amarr Empire.
The Holy Crusade of the Reclaiming, in the eyes of Lord God, is the first and foremost value for all The Amarr faithful seeking victory and is the choice weapon of delivery for the introduction of Amarr rule galaxy wide.
