The test server is still not working. even after putting /server:87.237.38.50 unless it has changed after the rebuild |

They probably started it on the 18th in the afternoon, all went home for the night and it crashed when nobody was around.
I doubt there's somebody watching 24/7 over SiSi. Wait until morning, it might come back online then.

Test server is up. Sisi is on the same daily dt schedual as tq except its 12 hours later and can last for hours instead of just one. |

Downtime on sisi today started at 00:01 eve time and for some nice reason is still going.

worked earlier, tried to play it just now and got informed there was a new patch
did I want to d/l it as it was now incompatible :(
grabbed the file and it installed to give me
Incompatible (Version)
wtf is the point of making it impossible to use it ?

It is not really that complicated.
1. Copy the client
2. Download the latest patch
3. Connect to server
- If that gives you "Trying to connect to Tranquility" and "Incompatible build" then
4. change the shortcut, connect to the server.

I have done that though, its not like I dont know how to connect as I have not had a problem until the last couple of days. During the process of trying to get the test server to work somehow my TQ settings got wiped also.

Remember to always use a shortcut to start the test-client, and also that the shortcut aims at the test-client exe and not the tq one.

A common mistake is that after the test server auto-patches and you use the auto-patch window to launch EVE directly it doesn't use the proper shortcut with the server IP changed, so it launches tranquility using the singularity build, therefore saying "incompatible." You have to close out and launch directly from the shortcut.

The patch has been downloaded. The client will now close and the patch process begin.
Press 'OK' to continue.
Installed the new patch and lo and behold, get incompatible version
Actually before going off on a rant, killed the client and restarted it, seems to be working 
Something for peeps to consider ?
