That looks pretty damn good, why haven't I heard of it?, damn, must be losing touch with pc games 
If it plays half as good as it looks, I will be parting with my coinage rather quickly. Is there a beta up for it atm?

basically it's DotA from WarCraft III stretched out to a full game if I understood correctly, but we'll see. It's being published by Stardock over their new Impulse delivery system, so atleast there won't be any disc-based DRM to worry about. |

I never played dota in wc3, but I had some friends that used to play it and they said it was fun. But I think they had a dota in starcraft as well.
But there's going to be 2 modes of game play. general mode, more like an RTS. And Assassin mode, more like an action rpg.
I dunno how they'll balance it all, hopefully it's close enough where everyone won't be the same demigod all the time.
Also I think if you pre-order it, there's a chance you'll get in the beta. Althought that's just something I got from the gpgnet forum, I don't know if that's official. I'll let you know if I do. |

I totally expected this thread to be about some weird and extremely geeky Werner Koch fanboism. What a let-down. 
Oh, and nice vid. That game might very well be worth getting, though I'm not quite interested enough to preorder it... |
