And now, slightly belated due to technical difficulties, we have the new chronicle. It's about Caldari Prime, and about Caldari Prime, and everyone who lives in those places. |

Nicely done Abraxas.
I think it paints the Caldari in a bit better light versus what has been reported thus far from an IC perspective. (assuming that the news feeds are scope)
Largely focusing on military targets, not indiscriminate barbarians looking to slaughter them all, things like that. |

Ofcourse they are. It would be very counter-productive to be rude to random people on their own homeworld.
As for Keeler's mother, the way I see it, she's sympatetic to the old regime, in other words, the federation. given the fact she's Gallente, like the rest of the their family, I'm not surprized.
Neither am I surprized over the new's portrayal of the man as a brutal murderer of both Gallente and Caldari civilians. You know, propaganda and all that. I think that if he was indeed a murderer, he could easily waited until Keeler was close enough (he though he was sleeping after all) and the just grabbed him and strangled him to prevent him from reporting his hiding place to anyone.
As for Keeler's father, he's acting very indiffrent about things, though that might just be a farse, a defence to keep things as they are. After all, things could easily get worse if they allowed it to. And in the long run, due the fact things stay as... normal as they have, I think that's all he hopes for, that all will be resolved and normality will continue.

I had the Language Reader text-to-speech program read it to me at least ten times but its inflection and cadence was far from perfect; if a text-to-speech program could have read it to me like a real human, I would have enjoyed it far better. TTSes these days are pretty grating!
(I usually don't have time to read things on my own anymore unless they're exceptionally interesting; I'd like to multitask and get more done at once, so that's why I tried to listen to this story instead.)
If only I could find a story where the Gallenteans are the good guys; the Caldaris are definitely the oppressive ones. ______________ Read 4, 6, 7, 19 & 20. |

Interesting idea. Why not putting an audio version of the Chronicle ? They usually are not that long, and having a read version wouldn't be a tough work.
Keep up the good work =)

Nope. It's done by a very talented artist named Sam Araya. He recently handed in the art for the upcoming chronicle, "And to Live in Peace", and it's amazing. Made me think of Dave McKean.

Audio versions are actually tough work: You need to get someone who can do a proper reading, get a studio where you record the whole thing and splice it together, and heaven help you if you decide to add any features other than a straight reading.
That being said, we're hatching plans for doing audio versions of upcoming chronicles. I'm not sure what the final setup will be, but to be honest I'm leaning towards podcasts that include at least some completely unpublished pieces; that is, stories you've never seen on this page and may never see here at all.
