So I see that instead of 47m, these two BPOs now cost 470m from NPC sell orders. When did that happen? I checked market history but nobody has bought them in my region for ages so I can't tell.
I hope CCP check to see who bought a pile of them before that change went through. I bet if anyone had knowledge of the change they would have stocked up big.

Is it possible you saw bpc's in contracts for 47m then when you looked on the market they were 470 from npcs? _____________________________

No, I own a Triage module BPO and while my wallet journal doesn't allow me to go back far enough to check how much it cost me, I bought it off the NPC sell orders unresearched, probably about 9 months to a year ago. I doubt I would have bought it if it was 470m.

In essence last sold at 47 millions was in February '08, first brought at 470 millions in July 2008.

finally it is about time CCP changed the price to what it should of been all along.
I mean isnt the normal price of a BPO 10 times the base price of the item? At the 47m price these bpo's were not following that formula. --

now if they would only jack up the prices of the Advanced Capital Component BPO's. --

Then 10x doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule, and even if it was, they haven't changed other capital module BPOs like boosters, reppers, remote reppers.
Just another ISK sink maybe?

Indeed. They should have been 1 bil+ each imo.

They were a little cheap, but there's no way they should have been in the ballpark of a billion isk. 150m ea tops. The non capital ones are only 4.5m also.
As well they are racial sets, so you need 4x7 BPOs at least for building everything that you can build. (which is only JF's atm). While the other capital components are non-racial so the same set can be reused multiple times.
Personally despite having many full sets of the afformentioned BPOs (and Triage/Siege BPOs already etc) I'm dissapointed CCP seem to continually not get these right, when changing them later can be easily exploited by anyone with a little bit of inside knowledge or luck. Bomb BPOs are another that were poorly thought out, expensive but with comparitively quick copy times, so one owner could make enough BPCs to supply every Bomb ever detonated on TQ in a week.
I did notice post patch with the triage module that someone had bought up at least 4 that were possibly on sale from players and put them back up just under NPC price. First person to read the patch notes properly post-patch no doubt.
