Buy ten top tier T1 frigates and fittings (note, must include a warp disruptor).
Jump into an empty jumpclone (or fit +2s you can live with it for a day or so).
Go out and can flip. Go to lowsec/0.0 and look for stuff.
Post your experiences here when you have lost all your frigs/killed stuff/got tired.
I am interested.
Go on, get out of your hugboxes, get out there and pew pew! Assumption of Risk |

whee, solo frigate fun. first 2 will pop at gates, next one to concord in can flip screwup, then 3 more being one hit killed by actual pirates before they lose interest.
how about you tell them to join faction warfare and at least have a small gang with them. - -

Fun is in the eyes of the beholder... or something like that.
If you really want to get nit picky about it, consider this. Tomorrow CCP decides to shut down Eve because they've had it with all of us whiney bastiges. So at this time tomorrow, exactly how useful are any of our bits and bytes? How useful is the bytes comprising a titan compared to a merlin?
They're pretty much the same. Worth exactly squat. Pretty much what they're worth right now.
So it's the amount of entertainment to be had rather than the amount of virtual bling that really matters.
Someone proposing something that is 1) Pretty friggen cheap to try 2) Has the potential to entertain
What's the prob?
/shrug
Hang on tightly to your bits and bytes if ya want.

You don't 'get' anything from me silly bear. Your reward is in your hands. You might pick up some nice loots. You might make some friends along the way. You might I dunno, heaven forbid, enjoy it?
I tell you what, there is no reasoning with you people. Sit in your own little bubble and grind away all day, refusing to interact with others like a robotic Far Eastern Macro'er.
This is not about nerfing level 4s. There however are all these bears spouting how if their missions are moved to lowsec they will quit the game. Has anyone been to lowsec recently? It's dead, pretty much.
Meh forget it. I thought I could maybe turn some people around, give them the buzz for PVP. I guessed I was wrong, some people are just too stupid/stubborn/carebearish. Assumption of Risk |

I think I've made more enemies than friends TBH. For some reason people get ****ed when you blow up their ship. And I wasw hoping I could get something more out of a little fun this weekend.

Stereotyping!

Never said it was a thread about nerfing anything. And yes I've been to Lowsec many a time.

Someone else said it best already in this thread: Fun is on the eye of the beholder. PVP is your fun, missions are theirs. The stubborns are the ones that can't see that.

That's called BF2142 a.k.a. DOW a.k.a. Halflife 2 a.k.a. TF2 a.k.a. going outside.
I can give those to myself. Again I was just wondering what the OP was offering which appears to be nothing.

Moi, I do on a regular basis, but I'd rather not make it my home. I've done lag fests, fleet fights etc etc. All actually quite good fun, but nowadays I prefer my fights to be <12 on each side.

You can't have your cake and eat it. Were I an Alliance Goon as you put it I would be sat around waiting for ops to start, lagging out during every battle. Instead I am a backwater nobody fighting noobs eh? I have plenty of good fights.
What are you though? A burnt out empire bear who was once part of some fail Alliance or corp and was tainted by that experience and has run back to hisec to grind level fours for a living?

Wow a lot of anger.
I read the OP as just a suggestion to the folks that never ever leave empire because all the other bitter players are telling them how it is.
I would think it would be a great opportunity to broaden ones horizons good, bad or indifferent in a rather inexpensive manner.
But I guess you guys read something that I missed?
