All it adds up to is 10-15 minutes reaction time whenever a big fight breaks out (Daisio(sp?) caps on gates... ). No one in TRI will be looking at your territory with conquest in mind; Vale will keep us occupied for the foreseeable future (If we keep the Vale stations). And after that I suspect we will endeavour not to make the same mistake we made in Deklein; getting too many blues in the surrounding regions (40-50 jumps to kill something - and now not in nanos?!?).

MM OTOH, I believe they have a fair few experienced, competent and even excellent pvp'ers (really the only NC alliance I have any respect for these days), however, look at the NC losses from the TVN Mom shoot the other day and tell me how many Hydra losses you see on there? I'f you brought YOUR expensive toys to help them keep their space, and lost them, wouldn't YOU expect to see dozens of their much smaller, much less expensive ships on that killboard by way of trying to protect/support your efforts? As for Pure... meh, they hamstrung Hydra with their paranoiac residency rules (no supercaps, no supercap building), with the arrogant assumption that if hostiles tried to take over Hydra space, they would be more than able to repel the invaders and protect Hydra OR make a new deal with their new neighbors. I'm guessin that's not working out so well for them now. Perhaps if Pure and Hydra live through this, they might change that to a requirement to have supercaps for self defense. ------------------------------------------------- Items posted by me are in no way a reflection of the policies and/or opinions of my corporation or alliance. {though they maybe really ought to be}

For the same reasons, bringing more powerful ships or having more SP than your enemy should be seen as unfair... but it's not. Truth is, everyone just picks the fights when and where they like it to win them. If they don't, they lose. -clp
