Would it be possible to make Blueprint Copys Stackable? or does that have the same issue as making BPC's distinguishable from BPO's?
I have several 100 BPC's littering my hanger ALL with Identical Stats, yet i cannot stack them into neat and tidy piles .
Come to think of it, Researched BP Originals can't be stacked either, tho you won't normally have several 100 copys of the same BPO, Unless of course you're trading in researched BPO's
Anyways and Answer would be nice. á

Although I'm not a dev, I can say you with 90% certainty that this will suffer the same problem as making the BPC a different icon from the BPO.
You have to see it like this: Items in the database that are stackable don't have any stats on their own, just that they are a certain item. They contain no info about research or how damaged they are. Items that are not stackable have some stats unique to that item like damage and research or if it's an BPO or BPC. The reason that the second isn't stackable is because they are "unique" items in the database whereas the first are just referring to a certain item type which are all identical. What you are asking is in database terms, the same as trying to stack multiple assembled ships, even though they have the same stats, they are still unique items.
That said, containers could be a nice second to sort some of it out, though I don't think you'll be able to access them directly through the S&I interface that way, which kinda sucks.
Also, \o Ama, long time no see. _

Thats pretty much what i thought
I'm already using cargo containers to sort my blueprints, an no the s&i system can't use blueprints stored in containers unfortunately.
Also do i know you? your name does not ring any bells

Since the main problem has been pointed out I would like to suggest a new container.. A Briefcase maybe?
Basically it would have something like, 1m3 or 0.5m3 and would allow you to stack up things like blueprints really easily. Allow them to be renamed and you're golden. You would be limited in the long run as you couldn't carry more than 10 of these in a shuttle, but you would still be able to fit raw bpc/os in there if need be.
Sounds like a great idea to me >_>

please please please please do something with the BPC Icons so that I can tell they are copies. searching through info sheets looking for my original is soul destroying. just a "C" in the corner, or make them a different shade of blue.
anything.

This has been discussed a zillion times. Because of the way the server database is designed it cannot be done.

Hmm, I must have had you confused with someone else, corp history doesn't really show anything, ah well. Still nice to meet you

Actually, this sounds quite interesting, as long as you make them small like you said, they could just be used to at least hold certain BPC's together so you won't have that much in your hold when you are moving them. Make them cheap and I predict many people will use them.

lol, read up, I typed a massive wall of text partially explaining why this is not going to happen, it's like having different icons for damaged and undamaged ships. CCP already said many times this really is impossible due tot the current database design. _
