i made a fresh copy of my client and changed the shortcut as indicated in the sticky.
i run the shortcut and it downloads the patch.
i launch the newly patched client.
the login screen always says "server: test server (singularity) status: unknown and i always get the error "Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."
my version number is 5.11.61417 and every server status webpage i can find says it is up and running.... whats wrong with this picture?

Make very sure you launch the client from new location. Browse to folder were your Sisi client is supposed to be, find eve. exe and make new shortcut. Right click -> Properties -> rename the shortcut so you make sure what client you launch, in Target field add switches /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50:26000 after eve.exe, confirm the changes and run shortcut.

Can't connect either.
What I have done:
- deleted old testeve directory - copied current eve client to testeve directory - started with testserver-link - it downloads the patch - it patches - I start with testserver-link - splash disappears, "ExeFile.exe" remains in processlist
Now the ExeFile.exe process needs to be killed if you want to delete the testeve directory. Meaning: its the right dir, just not working.
This was reproducable 3 times on my machine.

edit: the client itselft starts via eve.exe clicked in the directory.
Starts and still hang out ofter spalsh screen?
Try making new copy again and patch manualy. The patch for TQ -> Sisi classic client is here: http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/eveclassicpatch58188-61505_test.exe
