Planning on doing some with zoom in the future. Maybe one for the North and one for the South. It was a real pain in the as to DL all those maps but now I got them :)

Wooooooo! I was thinking about this just a day ago, thanks for doing it!
It's great to see how some places evolve while others remain calm(er). So much has happened in over a year and this shows a lot of our history.
Great work.
Fake edit: Yeah, would be nice to have a N, E, S, W zoom :D .

downloading, i have seen some sov maps that are done starting in like 2005, all the way to about 2-3 months ago, and man they are fun to watch.
The only real "calm" place in eve is delve tbh. Its always been BoB's core space, and always will until BoB gets bored of eve or decides to go their seperate ways.

also, is there an archive of the data exports, or just the piccas?
would be nice to make a new 1 with consistent colours.

man 2007 was a good year. 2008 hasnt been too bad either.
I wonder if another north and south coalition will be formed to kill the "evil bob"

WoW nice dude but perhaps make the slideshow a lil bit slower maybe, 2 seconds for each map kind of hard to keep up  . Still nicely done must of taken a while.

Thanks ! Well I could do a slow version, right now the slides go through every .5 seconds how slow do you want it?
Just wanted to make a fast one first, that isn't boringly slow.

I've been thinking about that too. The problem is finding a thread that sums up all the major dates/wars. It will be a big undertaking to do that research myself....But eventually I will prolly get so bored at work that I will do it 
Actually in the highres file on my comp you can see which date the map is from, but it's almost 4 gigs... 
If anybody can direct me to a thread/website with a list of the major events please post it here...

It's not exactly an epic claim to fame but we think Tribute is the current longest continually held region (in terms of stations). It's been static since TCF were finally ground out of D7-ZAC at the end of September 06 (so ~23 months).
Delve is most certainly the longest continually held region ever. I'm pretty sure it was unbroken from the time system sovereignty was properly linked to outposts in EXODUS (late June 05 but BoB didn't form their ingame alliance until 7th July) and arguable 4-6 weeks earlier when it was last taken from FA, until the begining of February this year when Goons took sov in QY6-RK. ~31 months.
CVA also have a pretty long grip on Providence but they have many dependents living there and I'm not going to attempt to bluff my way through the politics there

Second that... just putting the maps is kinda useless put a timeline and if u wanna doit right make some visible marks on it... u cant understand almost anythin |
