i havent worked out the specs, but i thought that a new capital ship that playes on electronic warfare, such as jamming, dampening ect... would be a neat idea - ill be updating this post as i get more ideas... Caldari: Pegais Capital Jammer
Amarr: Herald Capital Turret Disrupter
Minmatar: Higg Capital Nosferatu
Gallente: Sauveur Capital Sensor Dampener
now this is just a idea, but it sounds like a good idea when its getting posted at 1:30AM

How on earth did you come up with minnie cap ship with EW of their hated enemy? I mean fair is fair and capital NOS ship would wtfpwn every onther cap on the field, but NOS/neut is amarr. Minnie "EW" is painting big red dot on your ship. And webs. I think...

because a capital target painter will be like the most useful thing evar.

Im wrong or dreads in siege mode cannot be ECM'ed ? If its true then its completelly unusable on cap fights, on the other hand it will be completelly unballanced versus smaller ships. Capital ships are not designed for solo pwn-mobile, and make a capital ship designer to fight smaller ships ( the only one that can be jammed) its just wrong.

oo yeah paint and web that dread!!!!
Anyhow.. capital ships shoudl be about brute force.. not delicacy. So i prefer if they take their time into givign us a proper between dread and BS spot ( hint you can still implement other t2 bss) so you can fight agaisnt carriers somehow other than more carriers. ------------------------------------------------- If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough

I think Caps should still need support. Letting them cover even ewar would make a huge part of support fleets obsolete. What next? Scrambling fighters?

That would actually be a fun replacement for the titan dd. Racial ecm dd..amarr get a cap-nuke, caldari jam everyone for 2 minutes, gallente titan turns into a huge superbubble, minmatar stops all movement on grid for a while..

Heck yes! Each dread could go around painting and insta-popping battleships with their seigemode guns.

I know that those exist, that's where I took the idea from. But there are no AoE Neuts, Scrams and Webs. Or other kinds of ewar.

There's bubbles for Scrams and bombs for AoE neuts. There is a need for an AoE web though. -- Flame on. |
