I have a problem. I like collecting rare ships.
So my problem is, how to get some of the more rare models.
Specifically, I want a Marcharial (sp?) and a State issue Raven.
Does anyone know how to get them? Is there a list somewhere of all the faction ships and how to go about getting them?

Macharial isn't rare. It's a pirate faction ship with a decent enough supply.
The State Raven is a different story, there are only four of those.

For the unique ships, I take it no more of these will ever be made?

Post a buy offer for the character Entity on the Character Bazaar forum. Entity owns at least one of every item and ship in the game, except for the Gold Magnate. The only Gold Magnate ever to be in the game was destroyed in PvP some years ago.

was it worth it, just to have it sit in your hangar forever?
tbh, it would be nice if "unique" ships like this, were returned as insurance, rather than an ISK return on insurance, that way people can actually USE them, and not be afraid of losing such a unique ship because they wanted to get some use out of it and not have it sitting in their hangar all day.

He also lacks the Opux Yacht, and i doubt he'll ever get it. :)

Nah, the fact that everything can be lost is a nice touch in EVE. And if you actually have the guts to use it and lose it, you'll get even more famous. Many associate Tyrrax with the Gold Magnate, but I'd be surprised if even half of them could come up with the name Ecliptical when asked who actually won it.
