I have this concept that i wish to bring up for discussion, and that is the addition of both chaff and decoys
First chaff, used in the context of both a missle and drone "lock" breaker, install it in a high slot and use different types of loads to launch a haze or nebula of particles designed to break the locks established by drones and missles.
This of course would require a new set of skills to be developed such as, but not limited to: chaff launcher, drone lock reaquisition, missle lock reaquisition, and such.
Secondly, have decoys, they are loaded into the drone bay and launched in leiu of drones, either singly or in groups. (for example one could launch a decoy and 4 heavy drones or 4 decoys and 1 drone, or any combination of such)
These would act as and visually seem like extra ships. they would display the same recticule and visual cues that we currently normally associate with an opponent ship. Again more skills would need to be made that would add to the ability to control and operate said decoys.
In the context of the game these, in my observations, are 2 critically needed additions. Not only do they have practial applications in the real world, but would add an element of sneakyness and needed jamming skill not currently available. It would also make scanners and other booster items associated with jamming more necessary.
All input and ideas welcome.

Personally, I would like to see a drone change:
- NORMAL MODE -
Drones are not targettable, and do damage as normal. (This would un-gimp Gallente so that their main damage weapon can no longer be popped under normal circumstances, just like everybody else's main damage weapon.)
- DECOY MODE -
Drones are targettable, and act as decoys for missles, attempting to shoot them down when they come within range. However, they can't be used to attack a target when in this mode.
Drones can be set to each mode on an individual basis. Tactical Logistics using the last T1 Frigate hull!

The concept is cool.
However several hundred ships all popping decoys and chaff would probably bring the servers to their knees.
Still, neat idea.
