The changes in the upcoming patch look good, but the issue with no mouse button besides the middle one working as push-to-talk is not being fixed?
Mouse buttons are in the list, but picking them doesn't work. All other programs I've used like TS, Ventrilo, TF2 voice chat, etc all recognize my mouse thumb button, but Eve can't? Is this really that hard to fix? I've tried it in echo test, while trying to talk to people in the channel, I've restarted Eve--nothing works.
I've reported it as a bug more than once and I always get "It's a known issue". This is a problem becuase I'm so used to using my thumb button in every other voice chat system, both standalone and built-int, that I keep pushing it while talking in Eve Voice, forgeting that it doesn't work. Thus I end up talking to myself a lot, which isn't unusual for me, but in these cases, I'm trying to talk to other people.
Can this please be fixed and added to the upcoming patch? Please? It's been a problem since EV was made free, which was a while ago now. Or even a "we're working on it" or some info.

Being able to use left shift would be nice also, as right shift is allowed.

It's a major oversight that this tiny keymapping feature doesn't work. When you do get around to fixing it CCP, make it so we can map any key or key combination to eve voice, and while you're at it, can you please fix the microphone mute issue, "Push to talk" should override windows volume controls and unmute the mic temporarily like it does in EVERY OTHER VOIP program on earth.
Lastly, I just wanted to say that eve Voice is beautiful and well done. A couple of minor issues can't tarnish a well done piece of coding. Kudos.

I have always used the middle mouse button for my push to talk key... it works all the time.....

If you actually read my post, you'd see that any mouse button besides the middle one doesn't work.
This is disappointing. When I bug report it, it's a "known issue", but numerous big patches later, some of which include fixes and improvements to Eve voice, yet none of them include a fix for this?
