So BOB called the Dev's and got them to lag out some systems so they could get some work done, then once they were done give the all clear to CCP and the lag is turned off. Well thats one hella theory, and I would love to hear your theories other stuff. Bet youre a scientologist aswell I sure hope someone posts what's said in corp / alliance chat when Luthien next loggs on. I have a feeling itll be along the lines of "dont let the door hit you on the way out".

This lag miraculously cleared within 30 seconds of them taking down the PURE cynojammer. I've seen it too many times, I suppose that my little voice is not important enought to register an article iin the NY times and I don't have a friend at ccp, so I will continue to do what I can to stop this obvious exploitation, by x'ing up and keeping fighting. I'm fighting for an ideal, against a foe that will stop at nothing to win, even when winning becomes moot, because they have all the cards. Cheats never prosper, but they do unfortunately. Posting with a main. Luth. I read this and for the first 4 paragraphs it looked to have a good point...then it blames BOB for cheating, jesus. Blaming BOB for haxing the server is so 2006. Perhaps if you've been playing for 4 years you need to get a better computer?

These "cheating" accusations is what makes your FC fearful of taking risks, and why your gang numbers are shrinking. They aren't cheating. Having been in Goonswarm, I'v been in many situations (less than more) situation where it seemed like we were the ones who cheated with lag. Where our equal numbers of inferior ships decimated theirs, where every move made by our FC was so much better. Band of Brothers have always been about the blob as far as I can remember, and they did a lot of blob warfare, more than you certainly. If they shared that experience amongst themselves, then their FCs simply have a better understanding of how to deal with lag. As far as the 200 in system and the rest being lagged out 3 jumps away, you never know what cards the Node gods will deal you. You think it's bizarre because a system that didn't lag as bad with 400 yesterday, suddenly seems to lag with 200 right? this is normal, their capacity changes, and from the many reports read about that on these forums, it seems automated, and I have seen this many times in different regions. Do yourself a favor, fly a T2 battleship, and let your FCs worry about doomsdays. If they fail, then fail with glee, that's how it's done, any distrust of your allies will only doom you that much quicker.
