Let's say i'd use 650mm arty II's, 720mm II's if i can fitt 'em?? All (good) awnsers are very much appriciated -------------------- ding ding! Wrangler: Hello and w ding ding! But please, learn from me, don't PvE in a Minmatar ship. But seriously, more people should have some type of spacer in their sigs to show it's not part of the post.

Hotice	Posted - 2008.08.31 06:14:00 - [9] I used a Sleipnir to do lvl 4 angel missions for a long time. It worked pretty well. Tanking is not a problem at all. I used full set of t2 720mm arties since they don't use that much ammo. Usually an angel extravaganza can be done within 40 minutes. Maelstorm is a pretty good mission ship as well. I used 8 t2 1200mm arties on it. At the end, I still like sleipnir better since it is faster and still got pretty good punch. It is just more fun. Minmatar pve ships are fine, just require lots of sp. Once you got the sp, they will perform pretty decently. PS. don't use AC for pve missions, you will need a hauler to supply the ammo you need. hehe It is a total waste of isk.

Just because a ship is decent at max skills doesn't mean it compares well to other ships, and Caldari/Amarr/Gallente ships are simply better with max skills than any of the Matar ships. Maelstrom works decently, I agree, but that's not really saying much. Vargur is decent as well, but is the weakest marauder, and the inability to change damage + cost of all that barrage will take a toll on your efficiency and your wallet.

A Nighthawk can be incredibly boring to fly in a mission if it's passive tanked. If you want to do other stuff while missioning (housework, homework, TV, talking to your partner) then the NH wins hands down. Very few other ships can be left unattended in any mission at any point without risk. A perma tank CNR/Golem can but they are more expensive and can be targets for pirates. A lone NH is unlikely to be a target for pirates unless they just like ruining your day for giggles. A Sleip will offer plenty of excitement and at times 'seat of the pants' flying. If that's your idea of fun then go for it Edit:Oh and you will soon get sick of reloading ammo. with the Sleipnir. Hotice	Posted - 2008.08.31 17:34:00 - [12] Well, based on OP's post, I narrowed it down that he got pretty good minmatar ship/gunnery line skills. Thus, I give him the ship best for minmatar race to use in missions. Compare to ships from other races is not very useful since he has to cross train a lot of stuff. I personally got lvl 5 bs/command/hac skills for all 4 races, 24.7m sp gunnery, maxed drone and t2 torp/cruise missiles skills. When I say decently, it means the ship will perform within expectation. Vargur to me is just a good salvage ship and nothing more(that is what I'm using it for). I point out maelstorm because it is a pretty good ship. Great tanking, and good dps. When I use maelstorm, I turn the sound on to listen to the big arti fire. However, compare maelstorm with slipnir, I like slipnir more since I love small ships. The best mission ships in command ship line are Sleipnir and Nighthawk. Best HAC mission ship is Ishtar or Zealot if fighting blood raiders. I do most of my missions in zealot and ishtar nowdays. I rarely take out nightmare/golem/kronos unless it is large missions fighting massive bs targets. Small ships are just more fun when I do mission. Based on my experience, I say Sleipnir can handle any lvl 4s from any agent very nicely. Fun ship and good speed.
