Why have IRON moved from Malpais?
And why doesn't the influence map list the daily sov changes?

Iron didn't willingly move from Malpais, they were invaded by the current owners right after the MAX campaign started in Deklein(sp?).
The creator of the sov map, Verite, has stated he's on vacation and will get to it when he gets back, he has no remote access to fix or even see what the problem is, so he's as clueless to the problem as all of us are.

I'm sure IRON has a plan.....or something. I used to care what happened to them, I actually liked them. That's the good thing about being pirate now I suppose, I don't have to care about the political climate. Perhaps I'll take a road trip to try to catch some of the conestogas and mule teams. |

Verites maps only list real alliances.
Fail alliances that lose all their space insanely fast dont even register as the maps assumed they sucked too bad to keep it in the first place.

bob cant hold on to that space for ever at some point all the bob pilots will be sent to some other place ( its got to be east or back south really ) and then the NC will filter back
like what happend when MC slapped the whole north about

Like who? Exe are prolly the only alliance that could. Axiom maybe, but I think they could get crushed if BoB leaves them to fend for themselves. Who else? Doubt Goodfellas really care, and then who? Skunkworks??

your looking at it wrong, they might not even place a BoB friendly alliance there, as long as they arent blue, and promise not to be blue, to the NC BoB accomplished something.
They denied NC moons/stations. They ahve also made it so the NC will have to fight for the space back. Plus they wont be bogging down their allies in having to hold space in the north so they can move with them to whatever target is next.
Not really sure WHERE they would find them, but there has to be a couple?

Even when BoB calls it quits and goes home, there's still going to be alot of prime hotdrop opportunities for whoever wants to harrass the weakened NC as they attempt to retake their space. That alone will provide weeks, if not months of entertainment. And with the resources of BoB, they could quite easily leave a capital fleet stationed somewhere in the North for when such an opportinuty arises.

b) some people turn influence maps into their advantage
c) don't expect them maps to be accurate. I'm sure map in gbc camp looks like different than in nc camp.

I can confirm Verite was on Vacation, he is back now and I am sure is currently working to corect the map issues. With the extended DT it makes it harder to check for code errors. But not to worry, it WILL be back.
a)Yes, it does have a delay, I belive it is 2 or 3PM GMT just in case of an API fubar (so it doesn't pull old data).
b)Yes, but Verite takes his map (well his adopted map) very seriously. He ses it as a truth in all the lies that is EVE.
c)No. The map Verite puts out has data drawn directly from the API export. I guess it could be altered, but as it sits, and the code is availible, it again is as acurate as CCP's own server data.

Confirming this.
Verite was on vacation and you can't even pay him to alter it. We tried to get him to set someone pink once and wouldn't even do it when we threatened to kick him from corp.  If he's that anal about the colors you know he's not messing with the actual sov figures.
