Solo.. depends.
In a gang you're usually going to want a buffer as lots of folks bring RR. |

i keep seeing this written on the forums.. and how ******ed can it get.
if your going to rely on RR a lot.. the higher your RESISTS are the more effective RR becomes.

Edited by: StinkFinger on 01/09/2008 04:17:43 3 possibilities:
a- if its large scale and yur buffer is big enough and yur primary, u might be able to warp away before you melt.
b- if its small scale and yur buffer is big enough, u might last long enough to win...but if yur gangmates are n00bs or youre outmatched, u looz regardless.
c- if u have a small buffer and active rep, then hope for really small, even numbered encounters, ie 2v2 -5v5, or where u gots the numberz, and u might live long enough to win, get away, or even pwn, respectively.
the third possibility happens to have the lowest incidence level. |

Correct, though having a buffer is important as if you die before you can receive assistance the point is moot. |

That's what ECCM and a decent number of gang-mates are for. And if this falcon is good enough to jam everyone in the gang, hasn't he won already anyway? |

Cannot speak about the Onyx but I had the same issue with my Harpy: Field Purger or Field Extender...
Imo: if you can manage to get a "damage input break" regeneration is very nice.
After the speed patch "damage input break" could be for a Harpy: close orbit under the enemys guns. Your shield is recharging during the fight. Your enemy has to start from the beginning ^^
I'm not sure about cruisers and BCs... |
