Can I get some feedback on this setup please. Its primary use is in a small gang as a DPS machine.
[Deimos, New Setup 1] Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Energized Adaptive Nano Membrane II 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator Warp Disruptor II 10MN MicroWarpdrive II
Medium Nosferatu II Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M
Ancillary Current Router I [empty rig slot]
Hammerhead II x5
Does 570DPS with Void ammo though I believe this really gimps my tracking (is this correct?). I fitted the plate as a buffer tank instead of using an MAR due to cap issues, its cap stable without the MWD running, though I read everyone fits neutrons instead of ions, and I cant fit 5 neutrons even with 2 Current routers.
Any help appreciated.

drop medium nos to small, then you should fit 5 neutrons on, if not, train advanced weapon upgrades higher. |

That works, and its still cap stable.
Thanks. |

Drop the nos as previously stated and get neutrons, maybe something offlined in highs as a heat sink if you can overheat guns. or a small nos / neut.
without the medium nos you can drop the ancillary current router and get a mix of ions and neutrons (dependent on skills) and have both rig slots free. DPS drop isn't that bad.
consider some form of explosive hardening too, it's your resist hole and a reasonably common damage type. The rig maybe suitable, or maybe a trimark to up HP?
Yes, void totally gimps tracking and range. Don't use it. use fed navy antimatter, very nearly the same damage, no tracking issues. carry null though as that is somewhat useful.
Also, expect to be primaried :). In a small gang i'd be tempted to run with ECM drones depending on gang makeup of course. |

deimos is often primed asap due its massive damge and no tank. to counter this i flew it a lot in combo with a pilgrim. two tracking disruptors mess up turret ships. for that gang i used a maxium gank fit.
5 neuthrons II faction AM small nos.
mids well ehe bet? :D
lows. 3 mags tabs II 1 small centii c-type or so. DCU eanm II
rigs Explosive resist. open or i like a low friction ossel joints no idea why though :D
drones 5 hammie II
tactic pilgrim uncloacks tackles starts the electrinic warfare machine. (tracking disruptors, neuts and ecm drones) I warp in and unlease the hell damage of the deimos. repper is there to rep to few hits and a after the fight fix.

Void gimps your tracking, more cap use, and optimal harder.
Stick with Faction AM and null. Thats what i do atleast. |

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Finally settled on this
[Deimos, New Setup 1] Damage Control II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Magnetic Field Stabilizer II Energized Reactive Membrane II 800mm Reinforced Rolled Tungsten Plates I
X5 Prototype I Engine Enervator Warp Disruptor II 10MN MicroWarpdrive II
Small Nosferatu II Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Caldari Navy Antimatter Charge M
Anti-Thermic Pump I [empty rig slot]
Hammerhead II x5
Didnt want to use the repper due to cap usage, thought I'd go with the buffer tank instead. If i fit a grid rig I can fit a full spread of neutrons but it only gives me 22 more DPS uisng faction anti-matter, so I'm not sure if its worth the cost. ______________________

The main advantage is the increased range. Neutrons have bigger range and thus you can start dealing damage earlier.
Also use a Fleeting Web. X5 is 40% worse than Fleeting. Imagine the target is going 1,000 m/s. If you web it with Fleeting it will be down to 100 m/s. With X5 that would be 140 m/s. That's quite a difference at ranges you're engaging at.
And i think you chose the wrong rig. If at all use an explosive one.

Dual rep and cap booster anyone? Make them pay for picking you as primary. :)
100 DPS less that Neutron Gank Setup, with 25k instead of 26k Effective HP and fat dual repping tank.
1x Ion II, 4x Electron II, S Neut II
MWD II, Cap Booster II, Web II
2x MAR, DCU II, Explo II, 2x EANM II
2x Nanobot accelerator I |

I believe it needs AWU V, but if you don't have it, just stuff a +3%pg imp in your head.

yeah I'm a ****er but void will actually give you a greater optimal, 25% penalty vs 50% penalty. Still, it translats to very few km of extra range so faction AM is still a better choice.
Edit: Forgot to add a dam setup
5x Neutron II's something to offline
MWD, web, point
3x MFS II DCU II EANM II 800mm RT plate
gang - damage drones solo - jamming drones
If you're not trying to throw stupid amounts of damage around then an ishtar is probably a better choice

Just dropping in to say:
Demios pilots are like fighter pilots. . .always a pleasure to watch them work.
anyway its pretty simple stuff - biggest guns, 3 mag stabs, some buffer and a MWD. . .the rest is practice. ----
