I'm wondering if theres some sort of setting, where you can stop your FOF missiles from shooting large collidable objects (structures) in missions.
the FOF missiles work great, and I'm a little lazy so I'll have my mission running alt loaded out with FOF's. The problem is, as soon as a structure is closer than an NPC, the FOF's all target structures.
any way to fix this this? or must my reign of laziness end?

I get it aswell, i think it is basically part off the terrain with fofs they shoot anything that can legally be shot and as most large collidable objects that come under that catagory and are "wanted" you fofs engage, its annoying i know, so u sit and wait for all the structures to die or yeah.... stop being lazy :p |

Better end your laziness. It can get you killed quite easily and you are faster with manual targetting. Someone could grab a can of you and get flagged as thief. -> FoF go for him and he earns the right to pop your ship.

Incorrect. FoF does not attack players who have no 'agression' on you. Say remote repper or some e-war or weapon system. Just can grabbing will not get FoF's after you.
Also there is nothing you can do about those large collideable objects. There is some missions with a lot of small targets were fof is actually faster than regular missiles, altho as general rule of thumb regular missiles are more effective in most missions. |

I find it hilarious that fof's will only shoot back at a foe once agressed but will then leeroy some harmless structure.. hehe wtb AI for dummies v.1.1 |

Are you sure it differs between structures and players with no aggression but flagged for valid targets? Haven't tested it for some time, but should be verifiable pretty easy.
Unless your targets are very close you can manage your volleys better so you don't waste missiles on a ship that pops before the latest volleys reach it.

My friend, this is EVE, as it's a space oriented game, they couldn't have trolls. We have Caldari. |
