Most people know that most T2 ammo is useless, faction is better. There are of course exceptions, such as Scorch, but overall, faction is usually the right ammo to use pvp.
Thoughts on switching the stats of faction / T2 ammo?
Specifics would need to be worked out, but switching the bonuses from T2 to faction and back, would give the people who train T2 guns a serious advantage. Faction would still be > straight T1, but you would need to pay the penalties to be using higher end ammo before you can skill wise... |

No. Faction ammo is perfectly fine and how it should be.
T2 ammo needs to get the penalities heavily cut down.

That would make 1 of them still useless/yust the same.
Im more for a real use for shortrange Amno. More Damage with the Penaltys or better hitting abilitys vs small Targets with reduced Damage.

I don't think it would make it useless though. For example, T2 large guns take a while to train for. Fitting say a geddon with faction multispec that has conflags current bonuses, would give a younger player the ability to hit hard, but have a tracking penalty for doing so.
The player who has skilled up T2, would have T2 ammo with faction multispec stats, about the same damage without the tracking penalties. Reward for training T2 as opposed to tossing in some isk and using faction. |

You can allready use the Faction Amno in the T1 Guns, but you donŠt have the Damage Boni of the T2 Spec. Also as soon as you can use T2 they would be useless. |

T2 ammo is pretty good. I've spent hundreds of thousands of ammo shooting stations/pos:es where it'd be bit expensive to use faction :(
Also, faction is easy to produce while you have to get to empire to actually get that faction ammo but ye. I always use faction ammo for pvp with some exceptions, scorch and sometimes spike M for eagle/vulture.

No this was about fliping the Atributes between Faction/T2 Amno. What would be kind of pointless in the end, since T2 become usefull and Faction become useless.
Give a reason to use T2(Shortrange) and Faction Amno, for diffrent things(by her stats) and we will have 2 usefull Amnos instead of 1. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

The point is it wouldnt be as useless. People could use faction until they hit T2,a nd use the better ammo. Now T2 is pointless, because from Day 1 you can buy faction, and even when T2 is trained, you still use faction.
Flipping attributes means people could get more damage for more penalties right away, and the factions tats are after the T2 training.
