thank god i downloaded the actual patch that was posted earlier in the thread 
and now that the startup is finished the server is back to not accepting connections  |

$15 USD/month, and to be honest if you put the effort into it you can pay nothing to play.
they're working the issues out, if you had experience with server, and if this case clusters you'd have an idea of the true amount of ass pain that goes into keep it up.
sadly it isn't as user friendly as your adverage microsoft windows automatic update, and automatic install with request to restart at your leisure.

wow.. my first day of down time and i was expecting an hour.
nope, first tuesday and its patch day. no worries, i can wait out the six hours.
nope extended to eight.. fine, I'll go watch a movie.
nope extended another hour to nine.. good thing I just upgraded my account from trial to full three hours ago..
at least I am downloading the patch now.
