Ok, I looked trough this forum and didn't notice anyone with this same problem. I patched, it patched correctly, I rebooted. I click eve, the splash shows up....... thats it, it goes away and the client never launches. I've reinstalled twice, once with premium gfx and one with standard gfx. Same results.

Lemme get this clear, it launched fine before the patch? If so, you might want to try the general cache cleaning method. Whipes all your settings but probably also fixes your problem if it launched fine before.
One addition to the KB article though: "c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility" is the default location, if you have installed on another location, you can just go to the parent dir and move to the appropriate dir from there. _

Edited by: Delgato Svartekatte on 02/09/2008 22:49:03 I had the uninstaller remove all cached files when it ran, both times.
Checked, the directory doesn't exist (was removed with the last uninstall)

If you are still unable to start the client please try the following steps:
1. Go to Start -> Run or press Windows Key + R to open the run menu. 2. Copy the following and paste it into the run box: %userprofile%\..\All Users\Application Data\CCP\Eve\ 3. Choose the folder where your TQ install is located (defaults to c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility) 4. Delete the 58490.code file in the directory. 5. Start the client.
