Looking for like-minded team players (preferably active duty or vets) to either join or start a Corp with. I just got out of the Army a while back and most civ's are unreliable and don't know much about coordination/teamwork.
Anyone?

Well we are not ex-mil, but we are a mature group of players with leadership that has had a longtime experience in MMO's and understands what it takes to work together for a common goal. We are used to being in groups that do have a lot of military people in them and the officers are long time EMS workers.... we understand commitment and teamwork like few others do.
Check us out.

Howdy mate.
My corp's executive council is made up of a couple army personnel, and myself.
No mandatory ops, but we like to run pretty organized pvp/anti-pirate operations.

Active duty Marine here.
In MM2 we have 3 Soldiers, 3 Marines, 1 Sailor, and 3 or 4 former servicemen. We are an experienced PvP corp looking for like-minded individuals.
What can you do for us?

Honestly, I'm not that experienced just yet (only been playing for ~2 weeks), but I've heard that in order to really learn anything or get anywhere, I should join a corp. Just wanted to make sure I join the right one from the start.
I've worked with a couple others on mining ops and what not, but I was getting jipped on the payouts at the end.
Don't know what kind of mission I want to be a part of, I just know that I want to work with (and learn from) some good people.

And working with civilians in my personal life nowadays, there's definitely a lack of purpose, cooperation and comraderie. So, if most civ's on Eve are like most civ's I know, I'll need to find some boots.

I hear ya. Honestly though, like I said, we are fairly experienced and usually like people to have a little time in the seat when they make it to us. There are many training corps out there I would recommend looking into one of those first until you have a good feel of the game. Jumping into the thick of things at an early age can lead to a new player being overwhelmed.

Hmmm, civilians are unreliable. Oh well, you wont want any poor ****y civilians to offer a corp place then. I know shitloads of ex forces guys but never heard one of em say a crappy ting like that.

Wow, offended much guys? It's okay, not everybody can make something of themselves in life.
Sorry if you didn't like my remarks. My suggestion? Don't read them! If you take something that some random dude says in a forum to heart, then you might need to sit your sniffling little butts down, have a coke and a smile and shut the **** up.
95% you can't even spell teamwork.
Now that the lame-o's are taken care of...
If you understand where I'm coming from (competent people who are adult enough to not be offended) please reply helpfully. You are obviously not the kind of people I'm referring to in this post (unlike the above fools).
Spaz, thanks for the advice. I guess I'm still trying to develop a feel for how fast everything is coming along skill wise with me and how I fare w/ regards to the rest of the Eve populace. I just figured that with a corp(of good people), 2 or more heads are better than one...kinda learn from eachother and what not.
Looks like I still require many more million SP to consider myself worthy of any kind of PvP. As far as the NPC missions, when did you start into the full time PvP? Or do you still do higher level missions?
Megumi: 1) There are no "ex" forces guys. Your terminology is all wrong. 2) Maybe they knew you would whine and cry if they ever said that in front of you. It's not like I going around starting conversations with people like that. It's called *opinion*. 3) There's lots of things that people think and don't say all the time. It's called *tact*. 4) STFU and GTFO.

WLDCARD, Heath:
I was going to check out your guys' corps. Does the offer still stand or do you know of anyone willing to pick up a new guy like me? Should I hold off for a while before looking you guys up?
