Current prices for T2 BPOs (when one is sold) are equal to about 10 years worth of profits (no joke) For those begging for more BPO seeding, the best idea I've heard is for CCP to AUCTION 'one' (and only one) of each T2 BPO once every 3 months, (so in the period of a year, 4 Hulk BPOs would be added). Using the existing in game Contarct system for the auction, and start bidding at 1 billion. Even if they did this, for the 1st year or 2, you could expect the winning bid for popular stuff to be 20, 30, or 40 billion. Play nice while you butcher each other.

That being said, you could just sink the same amount of cash into E-Bank and get pretty much the same returns for NONE of the effort required, while also being able to access your cash at all times... My same old argument is: Why in Gods name would I spend 30 billion, let alone excess of 75 billion, (which would take me 2-5 years to recover the costs of at 15-18 bil profit a year) when i can purchase a collection of blueprints worth about 50 million in total and, for an equal amount of real-time effort, make more isk per year. And for the record, shove the "It's an investment, you'll get your money back" idea. The best description of the T2 BPO market I've ever heard is the reverse Imp Bottle scenario. Mix in the fear that CCP may actually do something to T2 BPOs one day that makes their value plummet and you've got a regular trojan horse. It simply makes zero sense for any industry-focused manufacturer to desire owning a T2 BPO these days when the best industry options are available within a couple months of playing. Improve Market Competition!

No compensation of any sort, the original owners have got their investment back and far more. Anyone that bought them after invention was announced was being foolish.

I currently build from TEN, yes, "TEN" Tech 2 ship BPOs, three of them Command Ships. Also, CCP hates you. Just thought you might want to know. Play nice while you butcher each other.

I wonder why people complain about the forums these days? Regarding the question at hand, you don't basically. But there is always invention once you get enough money.
