50% tax rate on NPC corps in return for safety.
Make it possible for pirates to negatively effect security status by killing folks in neighboring systems, and thus change portions of high-sec into low-sec.
Make it possible for anti-pies and militias to do the opposite.
Make it possible for militias to flip the sovereignity of low-sec systems.
Remove all low and null sec minerals from T1 loot drops and drone drops.
I'm all about all of it. The ganking and the wardec situations are the topics that the PvE crowd has right though, and just because I like PvP doesn't mean I'm gonna tow some party line.
Those sound like good suggestions with the possible exception of the wardec thing.

Originally by: Lord Obsidian Why is it not acceptable for people to say the pirates need to change the way they play, but acceptable for pirates to demand everyone change the way they play eve, and infact demand all of eve is changed to suit their very narrow, non sustaining view of how the game should be? If CCP did what you want and made the game the way you want it, about 80% (a number often quoted as people who dont leave empire) would leave the game. Do you really think CCP could sustain eve then? Or would it go like Vanguard and close\down grade everything.
First off, quoting that statistic in that way makes you look very ignorant indeed.
Second there's all the difference in the world between asking for FEWER restrictions on players and asking for MORE restrictions. Why do you hate freedom so much?

Originally by: Galan Amarias Just for the reccord, I've been ratting my sec up just for this patch. I have always been an advocate of Suicide Ganking, now I plan to proove that it's still viabal and probably more profitable than ever. An untanked hauler dosen't need much killing and they should feel even safer with their afk loot now that ganking has been "nerfed."
Ultimately suicide ganking relies on another player to be stupid. Stupidity can't be nerfed by CCP lord knows they've tried with all the warnings and tutorials and what not. Fear not friends, Jita may stop being the kill capitol of EVE, but idiots will still fund suicide ganking for us.

Keep us posted.
Its the removal of insurance planned that will kill of the profession.
As soon as CCP can get their heads around how not to hurt noobs who accidentally shoot gates, get concorded, and go bankrupt.
SKUNK
There's no particular reason for shooting gates to be a concordable offence. But really the easiest way would be for them to introduce a modal "are you sure?" popup that cannot be disabled.
Oh, wait. There's that "technical possibility" dark and cold illusion thing again.

Hmm - I don't know about that. Deep Space 0.0 miners might be a strong contender.
Drone space miners with Amaar-flying mains.

I love it when people who can't play a video game unless they have invincible NPC buddies to help them call others "wimps" and "whiners".

Your method of "game" hurts ccp. Luckily for ccp there are not many of you. Ccp is not here for general welfare...they are not a public service.
They are a business in operation to make profit. They don't care for your amusing whines other than temporary enjoyment like everyone else maybe.
If they see a level of churn that can be avoided by taking certain steps at customer retention...guess what?
You are gone...your game will no longer exist for you.
This is a matter of simple economics. You are in the vast minority..."carebears" are in the vast majority...not hard math here.
Well...here is hoping you adapt and quit. Gimme your stuff too
Almost everything you say is true. Shit-talking blowhards like you will be able to smack off people who are 100x better at EvE then you could ever hope to be in almost complete safety soon. It used to be that corps like the one your main is in had "no post" policies because they were aware that fools like you could bring trouble down on them by running off their stupid yaps. But soon there will be no consequences for being a public jerkoff like you are. So you'll be able to post with your main and merely associate your corp with being a home for people like you, rather than actually cost them ISK or ships.
Well done, progress of a sort, I guess. Meanwhile, GJ on protecting your anonymous internet character with a doubly anonymous alt.

Best thing about these threads is the pure INTERNET RAGE from the very people I most likely beat up in high school!
lol well said...Go spend that 100% better griefer certificate wisely.
Yep, looks like I was right: you're a big man talking big talk... when no-one can touch you.
What's it like being too gutless to admit who your main is? Jesus, that's pretty sad.

Uh, look. I think some time away from the game might be good for you. I'm saying this as one person to another, not as forum-fu.
About the same time as you start seriously believing
"but fact of the matter is, if people here knew your rl identity you would hide out for your game actions"
Then that is a very clear sign that you are way too emotionally involved. Because if you believe that in-game actions merit RL consequences then you should step the **** away from the keyboard for a while.
Please. Set a long skill and go do other stuff for a couple of weeks.

And here *suprise* is the motive of the alt troll.
His main was suicide ganked and it still smarts.

SKUNK
Motive?
Since when does motive come into play to troll you angry little guys?
Since you draged your tender bleeding tuckus to the forums.

It's at least as challenging as running hi-sec L4s in a faction/officer fit CNR.

Didn't you mean HiSec Gankers, Cut throats who can't hack it, or Professional can flippers? You know, the ones who can't shoot at anything that shoots back with anything more than a spit ball. ...And claim Eve is dead every other thread? Ya, those guys.
I agree 100% with the poster above me.High sec suiciding/can-flipping etc allthough maybe fun for some has nothing NOTHING to do with pvp in my book. Allthough i will not say in my pirate carreer atm i will never do any of these the fact remains it's for people who want to be 'safe-carebear-pvpers' themselves. They are nothing more then the carebears they themselves claim to be hiding behind a so called safety in empire. I LOVE the irony in every post empire gankers and such make about carebears while themselves being too scared to loose a REALL ship in pvp be it in low-sec or 0.0 .You want pvp go to low-sec or 0.0 you will find enough people there who will gladly be a non-carebear since you are SO looking for these kind of people it seems.
Say you're a miner in a hi-sec mining corp and a bunch of NPC-corp miners move into the hi-sec area where you operate. These guys are on 23/7 and locust-strip virtually every rock before you can get it it.
What do you think your options should be? (Don't say "petition them" - that takes months to take effect if it ever does).
