After my fritzbox died I bought a linksys wag200g, and now I can't play eve. Surfing, skype, messenger etc work fine, but eve and teamspeak don't, it simply won't let me connect. I tried using port 3724 for EVE, with no success. I disabled both my software firewall and router firewall, still nothing. Enabled Anonymous Internet Requests, nothing. I tried port forwarding, port triggering, DMZ, QoS, and nothing. I played with the MTU, nothing changed.
If you have any idea please let me know, before I start playing with the hammer. Thanks! |

If you troubleshoot and connect straight to the cable modem does eve connects? I used to have some problem connecting awhile ago with my wireless router it seems to be my ISP's problem. Doing a tracert on the command prompt may shed some light to the connection problem and see if you can reach the game server and how many jumps before the packet goes missing. Peace is the way of my war. |

The router acts as a modem. I did a tracert and it went fine, so I think it's a problem with the port. |

Try portforwarding port 26000 try running on DMZ zone. Check you firewall settings make sure eve is allowed to connect to internet etc Anti virus software may be blocking it too. check the different ports on router
