Hi!
just bought a new laptop for school use yesterday, so one of the first things i did was (ofcourse) to install EVE on it. it's a small 12" notebook, that's supposed to be used for school aps. however i would think i would be great to be able to do missions on it without to much lag.
so my question is: which settings are optimal if i want to Increase FPS the most, without losing too much graphical detail? - does someone have a link to a guide or something?
My system: 1,73 GHz Pentium T2370 Dual-Core 2 GB DDR2 RAM 160 GB HDD Intel X3100 Graphics Vista Home Premium
(i get an average FPS of about 15fps in station and approximately 12 FPS on missions at 1280x800)
NOTE: i would like to keep the resolution at 1280x800 and my OS.
Thanks in advance _Rasmus Signature: Noob (2 mil SP) Searching friendly, social and teamplaying corp. drop a mail in-game to Akularen if interested. ;) |

check the techical forums for more info, but imo, you're not going to be able to pump up the framerates much at all.
You have integrated graphics, and with trinity, both clients offload a good amount of work to the GPU, so it's a bottleneck that's not going away.

Just install the classic client rather than the premium. That should enable your EvE to run relatively smooth on that laptop :)

I AM actually running on the classic client..
well, i've been searching the Windows section for useful info, but didn't find a single topic about it |

I haven't done it it a while, so the exact keys may be wrong, but crtl+shift+E and ctrl+shift+T should turn off some of the effects |
