..err whoes stuff ? did you actually read any of the posts - or just use a cookie cutter ansswer to the thread you thought it was ? Wrong cookie cutter wrong thread.
Huzzah is back where it should be, and syndicate is full of targets again (new and old). At the end of the day its npc space so the alliance is going nowhere, and frankly there isn't anyone who can force its demise.

Edited by: Van Nuys on 19/09/2008 17:50:05 The core is Huzzah thru and thru and wont disband. They have fun flying with each other. As for the massive BOOTs. I have no idea what happened. Leadership was pretty silent on the whole deal.
As for TNERA, Wusti is like Stalin during WWII. Take his words with a grain of Salt. Didnt belive the intel from a different TZ (US), and was told STFU your full of Sh!t. Kick Wusti out of Huzzah and you guys are back in action. I got more usefull intel out of TRS than he could dream of. LOL why he ever though TRS would move out of the pc9 pocket is BEYOND ME.
I hated to leave. But the hand full of us US TZ guys against the majority of TRS just wasnt a good idea.
Oh and BTW the 3 of us that left TNERA, Left because You wouldnt listen. We never bad mouthed, smack talked, or anything about TNERA. I gave you Chat logs ect.. Where the F did you come up with that line of Horse Sh!t.
Oh and BTW, FYI (AGAIN), TRS isnt going to drop POS's and give you guys easy targets. Its not because they are Scared of you guys, Lmao. Oh and how is your POS in ZNO doing? It should be hit by now, I would have told you but after your line of crap and telling me im Full of sh!t about their #'s during the US TZ i forgot to mention that to you.
Kick Wusti and Huzzah is back in action!!!

Originally by: CuteFluffyBunny As a member of 1 of the corps who was kicked, i have a slightly skewed perspective from the remaining Huzzah corps. When alliances grow in size the responsibility of its leadership gets heavier. For what ever reason they claim to have "slimmed down" it was because of the disatisfaction of the core founding corps having to deal with problems that arise in a large alliance. At the end it became a whine fest of the euro tz vs the US tz. Finally Zarnie posted an alliance mail evicting 8 or so corps (all but the founding corps) because his gaming experience wasnt fun anymore. All in all, i had a good time in Huzzah, most of the guys were a pleasure to fly with and polite. FC's are kinda **** or at least hard to find. If you step up and take a gang out, you dont get any cooperation, you just get a bunch of jackasses that cant hold comms. After reminising on things that went wrong, things that we did, things that Huzzah did, ive gotta say huzzah is better off where they are now, and so are we. My only advice to Huzzah is just play the game, and let players be players. Let them have fun. And you better do something about your lack of US TZ players cause any alliance with half a brain can take your moons while you sleep. Im curious to see how much "fun" zarnie has repping POS's. Got anymore nid's zarnie? I see you lost 1 today repping in pc9.
If you actually have soemthing constructive to say - try using your main - but your last line shows your true colours I think. Bitter much?
Here's a post with a main. Why dont you take your own advise and post something constructive instead of flapping your gums. CFB gave an accurate report on what had happened to the US tz and the rest of the alliance.
And as usuall, you dont care to listen to other's opinions and just let shit flow out of that big mouth of yours. Huzzah isn't breaking up, but it fell apart because the alliance leaders, yes, including you, don't listen to anyone or take care of typicall alliance issues. It's called lazyness. If you can't handle running an alliance with that many people involved, don't recruit them.
Signed, Another, so called "Traitor"

I've seen a lot of guys who I'd gladly fight alongside somewhere down the road. I'm glad to hear that the core of Huzzah is a tight bunch who will not split apart. The game would be a lot less fun without people like that both in your blue list and in your neut/red list.

Fact 1: Red Skull shot two small POS into reinforced without finishing the job - even when they came out in their primetime with only a handfull of Huzzah in space. They are still blinky blinky in space.
Fact 2: (now) Ex-Huzzah corps have been taking down their POS as they moved out.
Fact 3: Red Skull took down their towers in AK- maybe before they got killed
You should get your facts straight. The only thing you do not need to improve is your childish smacking in local
Also I must say (when I speak for me and my corp) that most of the time you were not able to deliver good fights but only cheap ganks for us. This may change as you admitted your move has finished this week. We hope this.
Fact 4: Also we pretty much know that you simply outnumber HF in US TZ and have twice of our size. As we use API import on the killboard the following stats give an accurate look as of now (Killed by Huzzah/lost by Huzzah against Red Skull+friends).
Assault Frigate1/1 Battlecruiser 11/5 Battleship 20/10 Capsule63/14 Command Ship 0/1 Covert Ops 14/5 Cruiser20/5 Electronic Attack 0/3 Frigate15/3 Heavy Assault3/2 Heavy Interdictor 1/1 Industrial 4/1 Interceptor 8/1 Interdictor 1/1 Recon Ship 7/4 Shuttle4/0
Btw. your killboard also shows not a good trend down here...
Edit where some typos. Need to improve grammar.

El Cova,
Lets be honest here... I think its funny there is a new definition of an alliance falling apart.. and that is "house cleaning" I will have to remember that.. lol I mean I agree that maybe your core may stick it out, but that does not mean your alliance is what it was. It has fell apart on many levels.
I have to say alot of the huzzah guys that are left and around do provide some good fights.
Also as far as killboard stats, yes yours does look better. That is mainly due to you hitting us while many were still not moved in and ill equipped. Hell, we still dont have everything where I want it.. but your kb is not completely accurate for one that uses API's as KM's(specifically losses) are missing, at least as of this morning.
Either way.. many of us look foward to the battles ahead and I am sure your guys will enjoy it as much as ours.
Another note... we dont have to finish your pos's.

One thing I'll say about Huzzah they stand their ground, when Bruce and OSS napped in 2007 Huzzah wouldn't have any of it and reset standings and I really admire them for that. Outnumbered for months they camped 6C making poor old Brucie trips to PC9 very hazardous indeed. (and no I wasn't in Bruce). They have always been a thorn in the side of anyone living in Synd who was not blue to them. So "cleaning house" as it was put is a good thing and props to them for whatever their reasons. Anyhow wish you guys all the best in the future and I hope this is just your stepping stone to bigger and better things. [ |

We left in what....August? I think it was, maybe mid july. That's 6 weeks-2 months ago, something like that. When we left, Huzzah was size it is now. For some reason they added a whole bunch of new corps, that's cool, then they decided "hey that was dumb" and now they're back to their original size.
In most examples someone who says "house cleaning" probably means the alliance is falling apart. In this case since none of the core corps are leaving its only the very new additions, I think its obviously as they say, cleaning up their house. It seems like they were trying to add USTZ corps to their alliance and expand their coverage across multiple TZ's. Zarnie, would hope you paid attention to our attempt to do the same last year, realize the difficulty of that task and commitment needed by the leadership to accomplish it, and done a better job of preparing for it than we did. You're in a better position than we were when we tried to do it, so you have more to work with, but still. Our endeavor at becoming a multi-tz alliance lasted about 2 months, which seems to be the same as yours, and i'll tell you a secret, we had absolutely zero leadership whatsoever, either at the corp or alliance level, when we tried. The TZ is a poison chalice, no two ways about it and it's something that was identified as an issue and thusly we filled the blanks with some corps that appeared to fit the bill ... and it didn't work out.
After Zarnie sent his alliance mail, and after our alliance chat channel turned rather ugly for a time, a member of one of the US TZ corps convoed me and asked me what it was all about. The answer I gave him was "cultural differences". Now, by that, I don't mean (as he at first thought) that I meant UK vs USA or Europeans vs USA or some other permutation. What I was referring to was cultural differences [i[within EVE[/i}.
To some people it is acceptable to smack up in local, to systematically fail to post losses, to ransom, to carebear, to fly nano ships, to pirate in low sec, to meta game and so on. Some of these things we embrace, others we don't. These are the cultural differences to which I refer and they largely come down to play style. At the end of the day we found ourselves becoming something we were less and less comfortable with in order to fill a perceived weakness, but in doing so, we moved further and further away from what we felt comfortable being. Huzzah is and always has been an alliance based upon our word and we do care about how we are percieved by others in Eve, so we grasped the nettle and made a hard decision, but the right decision for us.
Right now, we have some nice pew pew going on with Red Skull and their friends and TCF popping in for a visit and once again those cultural differences arise, ie. smack in local (although TRS seem to have tempered this over the last few days) all well and good if that's the way you choose to play the game. Irrespective of that they have my respect and I look forward to some nice fights before the long-promised juggernaught of you-know-who rolls into town steamrolling all that comes before it.
Apologies in advance for my meandering and somewhat self indulgent monologue, just some thoughts that I felt were relevant and since someone else started this thread, thought might make some kind of contribution.
Cheers.

Just a quick request in response to some recent convo's following a battle. We've had some good battles, but Huzzah and allies, would you mind please stop contacting us within 5 minutes of a battle and complaining that such and such killmail is not yet posted?
It's a requirement of membership in The Red Skulls that corps be api keyed into the killboard. Has been for a long time. My understanding is that you do the same. Naturally some people post stuff immediately, others wait for the API.
Point being... if it hasn't been posted yet, that just means the board hasn't refreshed yet. Accusing us of deliberately not posting stuff just sorta makes us laugh. We don't even have the option of not posting. Heck... I wish I could not post some kills. I'm pretty frustrated that when I suicide a pod as an alternative to a clone jump, it shows up as a loss even though it shouldn't really be counted as such. |

I was in BRUCE at the time, and I agree. Those gatecamps from Reblier were pretty annoying... but not unsurmountable. I'd usually just wait until downtime to warp in, or tag along on a freighter op (which would systematically clear the camp in no time flat).
Every time, however, Huzzah came back. Persistance is the name of their game, and I salute them for being around for so long.
