I was under the impression that they were going to be lowered. After checking the BP's i have on Missiles I cannot see a single change in the cost, or the quantity per batch.

Cost to manufacture havocs and widowmakers has been cut rougly in half. I see the change on all my bpo's.

I don;t see any major changes in my torp or cruise bpos, so where is the decrease to SIGNIFICATLY decrease their price?

doesn;t take much with mid to high ores per missile
10 iso, that's nearly 700 isk right there

my cruise missile bpo had its zydrene reduced from 7 per batch to 2 per batch, pleased as punch

The cost of cruise missiles has, roughly, been chopped by two thirds... it would have been half, but Zy has a disproportionate effect at the moment.
This still means that they are still approximately 30x more expensive than railgun ammunition, which equates to roughly 10x more expensive per point of damage (ignoring DOT calculations), but it is at least a start, so thanks are offered.
However, I do have a question; is the current 10x cost level going to be the new position for missiles in the weapon hierarchy, or can we hope for a further reduction to 2x or 3x cost?

Personally I think 10x is fine. Missiles should not be a primary weapon, they should be an auxillary support weapon, you should think about when to use them, and such. _________________ [SAK] And Proud Of It! aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base? |

No, I am not... if you go down this discussion road you are forgetting that missiles take time to hit, can be dodged, smartbombed, use defenders, etc... the fact that it has now become harder for guns to hit makes them more like missiles ;)
The calculations start to become tricky when you are attempting to completely compare the different types, hence simplifying it by removing resistance, and working with base damage.
In answer to the person who said that missiles should cost 10x because they are a support weapon... they are the primary weapon for Caldari, as can be witnessed by TomB's comments and the changes to bonuses, weapons, etc... and as such, the added expense is inconvenient :)

My rocket, light, heavy, and cruise bpo's are all showing a reduction in mineral cost.
I didnt think to check torps
