the login screen comes up and i have the updated patch and i have /end /server:87.237.38.50 at the end of my shortcut but when i try to log in it says "incompatible (protocol)"
i have tried deleting the cache and reinstalling but it still wont work
btw im running vista
plz help

We can unfortunately only offer support for the Tranquility(Live) server, regardless of what the problem may be. We don't have any access to data for the test servers and can therefore unfortunately not troubleshoot any problem that may arise there, no matter how simple it may seem. We would, however, like to point out that if you are having any problems connecting to the servers (due to invalid account names or passwords) then this is usually just because the test servers have not recently been updated with the most recent date from Tranquility.
This updating - called "mirroring" - is done on a semirandom basis, so the main workaround is usually just to wait until the next mirror grants you access.
If you need further assistance with the test servers, we strongly recommend you read through our FAQ on the subject: http://www.eve-online.com/faq/faq_14.asp , section 14.7 in particular. Test patches can be downloaded from http://www.eve-online.com/patches/tpatches.asp

They say we do not help you on this and you lament the answer was of no help?
It was of no help to you because it was not supposed to be.
The test server is not something you should petition for: petitions are for tranquillity only.
Also posting the reply from your petition is going to earn you a warning or a ban.
