Ok whoever had this idea should have thought it out a little more. This is the first time I have ran into this. Hyperion down to 75% hull, armor gone. Repair bill of 14 million isk. Had I known about this believe me i would have sat outside a station and ran my repper. Now it would not be such a problem if we could specifically repair our hull, and take care of the rest of the armor damage with a repper. but no, it is either drain the isk to repair it all or lose the use of your ship. I mean come on, seriously? What ship captain would spend money on something his crew can fix? hull damage? yeah i can see that as neccessary to repair in a station (if you dont have a hull repper fitted. Am i talking out my bum, or do i have a point here?

Thanks Karr, that worked, you just saved me alot of money. But still that is a ridiculous concept is it not?

I'm pretty sure you can specify the amount of ISK you want to spend on a repair, at least it used to be like that. __________________________ Ketchup! Everywhere! Suckers! |

Yeah you still can, but how do you judge what is enough? keep spending isk until you can undock and finish the re[air in space? That seems inefficient.

Agreed. I prefer to see ships undock only to break apart before they can repair.

If you're too damaged to undock, how did you dock in the first place. Undocking must be a rough procedure...

Badly, sustaining enough damage to render you incapable of undocking again.

Yes I find it to be quite ridiculous. Especially when you dock in a station with no repair facility. Then you have to eject, fly to another staion and pick up a noob ship, buy a plate, pick up the plate and fly back to your BS. --

Ok so there are many ways to get around this, so why have it in the game?
