I attempted this Lvl 1 mission in my Vexor, only to find on the first acceleration gate that I was unable to proceed in a Cruiser. Now whilst I accept that this is the case, I do feel that the mission briefing should have mentioned this to avoid a player having to cancel the mission.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Yeah there's a couple. You need a frigate on standby.

I think Worlds Collide had gate restrictions... dunno if it still does mind. Removed. Please keep your EVE signature related to your EVE persona and not that of a real life politician. Navigator |

Edited by: Tuttomenui II on 20/09/2008 09:58:51 THe mission breifing will tell you if its restricted to frigates or destroyers. The 'Start conversation' window description of the mission is not the mission breifing, the mission breifing is the tell me more option, or the show mission info under the journal.
Also tip Skip lvl 1 and lvl 2 missions and possibly lvl 3 missions, get a freind who runs lvl 4s, and train your social skills, you will be able to do lvl 3s in no time and lvl 4s not long after.
Also ask someone in game for the mission survival guide link. I have the link ingame but not out of game, use it. Will also tell you if the mission is restricted, and will help you tank and beat the mission easily. |

Yeah - I had to go and get an Imicus to do this one (16 jumps thru low-sec!). What annoyed me was in 'Worlds Collide' it told you in the Mission Briefing that it was restricted. However, it didn't say this in 'Letters...'. Grrr.....
Thanks for the tips though Tutto

Perhaps it's because cruisers are way overpowered for virtually all level 1 missions?
Seriously though, you can handle all L1's (apart from 'In The Shadow Of War' and I think that may have been changed in the last patch) in a Destroyer easily. It's probably quicker in fact!

The second rule of FW missions is that we shoot any1 doing them unless hes in our militia. Then we simply inform enemies about him. P.S. Next please ---- Drones eat everything. Trust me. |

yeah and being blasted to pieces because your hull, engineering, mechanic, drones, gunnery and what not are not on par to the level. Good advice.

you dont understand, official forum policy is that eve missions do not involve shooting and just give you money by clicking the agent repeatedly. no undock necessary.
