Currently floating in limbo between whatever system I was in and Jita. Relaxing but somewhat pointless and I'm glad I've got another account to play on. -------------------------------------------

Yep I am pretty much ****ed off right now.. I have no other recourse other than waiting to login and hoping. This is pretty screwed up.. I wish CCP would come up with a solution for this lag as its a serious problem.. I am pretty much unable to play now for the weekend.

This is a classic example of how lag can never be beaten. They just upgraded the server to hold over 1000 so people pile in untill it lags again....
Blame those idiots rather than CCP.

Uhhh it is the main hub for purchasing, so yes, I will blame CCP genius. If they wanted to spread it out, they could EASILY do so, why haven't they?

CCP should implement drastic control into the system since no amount of server work will ever work.
- no activation of modules allowed - 1 hour in-system time before you are randomly kicked out to a neighbouring system's station.

They did, jita is not the first hub of the universe. This is a people problem that can never be fixed.

How bout a Queue system to get in... then it would never lock you in or out.. That should cover it so only 1000 people or whatever can be there at a time.. Eject out of Jita after 1 hour no matter what. Get in and get out so people can play the dagum game...

You just don't get it, it is where the cheaper stuff is, also where most of the supplies are. How can it be fixed? Link areas so items do not require folks RIGHT at those main hubs. Seriously, it is a people problem, people who cannot think of a solution point at CUSTOMERS and say pfft you're stupid for logging into jita.

You have to at least accept some responsibility for your actions. Going into Jita at a time like this is and complaining that you can't log in is like jumping into a well and complaining you can't get out. -------------------------------------------

So CCP FORCE everyone to sell in jita?
CCP FORCE you to shop there?
This is a people problem in the same way that massive laggy fleet fights are. CCP can upgrade to the most powerfull computer system on the planet and it will still lag because people will just keep on gathering untill it does.

Thus queueing and booting as said above would solve it somewhat.

I guess you just don't get it, perhaps someday you will grasp my point, till then you are wasting electrons... I am a customer, if I want to play in a certain zone, by god let me or at least warn me. I do Level IVs in Gallente space to avoid this, I just went to get a damn ship...
So, let me try again, I am a customer who cannot play due to CCPs handling of Jita. Can I do something about it? Yep, I can quit playing.

btw, I just tried to log in, and it was just fine. Then the localchat loaded, and it was like beeing hit in the face with a sledgehammer. At first it felt all warm and stuff, but then i realized all my teeth was missing, and that I was kindof bleeding so much i would slowly die. It also felt as i had swallowed my balls.

It's you who doesn't get it mate. Eve = MMO - remember one of those M's stands for multiplayer. Everything you do is affected by other players - including lag. Jita is entirely player created. It is a truly multi-player environment, lag and all.
Please do leave. Please donate your stuff to a passing newbie.

I should be able to go anywhere I want in the game and have all of my game controls function normally all the time no matter what. CCP is to blame. Do not try to pass the blame onto the players who pay money to play CCP's game. How the game is run and design is CCP's decision and fault.
They can try and keep blaming the players, but that is why they have lost 50,000 subscriptions in the past month, and will continue to lose many more in the coming months. People are just sick of it these days.

good one less sheep in jita.
It is not CCPs falt that players have decided to congress in one system for selling. They have already destroyed one such trading hub before jita was around to try and get people to spread out. The people responded with making jita the new trade hub.
CCP cannot stop a trade hub from forming, history has shown this. Kicking people out of jita after so long in and banning them from entering for a while is the only way they can stop the massive lag.
The only other way is for people to spread out across the area rather than selling in one super hub, but that can only happen if people get their finger out. CCP cannot be blamed for people flooding into a system untill its unplayable. That is entirely the players own choice and falt.

Why? Just make it possible to set a "delivery" contract at purchase time. People who don't mind waiting in queues will move it for the ISK. And the "benefit" of Jita diminishes. I could draw parallels to the RL economic crisis at hand, but I think it'd fail to get through the thick skulls of the local hooligans.

I vote for Asheron's Call-style Portal Storms. Just imagine, you go to Jita, it lags, then you wake up somewhere in Heimatar low-sec with shiny purple bubbles all around your ship!

I wish it just lagged. That'd be nice. Every time I've been stuck it's black screen for days, clear temp & cache same shit. Been this way for me since 2005... Only thing that's different is the quantity of scrubs in Jita propper.

Why can't CCP just make jita and maybe 1 jump to it a diff server?
i know they plug a shardless environment.
Keep the rest of the universe on one server but make jita and mission systems separate servers obviusioy still in comms with the main one.
The jump gates between systems could easily act as a server jump

They have, jita runs on its own dedicated server and just got upgraded to hold 1000 players. But yet again people just kept on turning up untill it lagged once more
